- Arc Two: Aftermath Synopsis

 |
Life is a short and fickle thing. The young members found that out quickly when a boy named Hector was accidentally killed. There was panic and anger, but Bishop believed it was not the boy's time to die. Instead, he called in a favor owed to him from Guildmaster Timestamp, who reversed time and changed the timeline to save Hector. This all seemed fine until a couple days down the road when an unexpected visitor appeared.
Guildmaster of Iapetus, Mortemori, showed up the Hyperion claiming that he was able to detect a life was cheated from death. His stance was that it was his duty to correct the rule of nature and make sure the cheated life was reversed. Head Instructor Addison was there to attempt to stop the ordeal, but after a quick feud, she was defeated by the Omega that is Mortemori. There, in front of all the young guild members in training, Mortemori grabbed Hector by the head and began to drain the life out of him. After the boy had died once again, the Guildmaster simply walked off once more.
This angered Bishop, and he and Mortemori got into a heated discussion about it a few days later. It escalated to such an extent that the two omegas began to fight with one another. The battle was short lived, but Mortemori swore that Bishop was not to be trusted with training mutants. This worried Bishop, so he assigned two of his Alpha instructors to go spy on guild Iapetus. Unfortunately, they were caught in a trap and barely escaped with their lives. When they told Bishop this, one thing became apparent; Iapetus was forewarned by someone in Hyperion.
Some time passed, and some new students from Iapetus began to get suspected as rats. It was then that they enacted their plan. Whilst Bishop and Mortemori got into a brawl, the three male students attacked the other student body. The Iapetus team seemed to be better trained and far more advanced in their capabilities than any one member of Hyperion, so the fight was grueling. However, they were forced to retreat when the lights to the guild were restored, thus giving Bishop the winning edge.
A week went by without any conflict, but on the week's end, the guild came under attack. Mortemori and Bishop were forced into combat once more, and the other students were forced to fight more of Mortemori's personal students. The fight raged on for some time and resulted in many people being injured. One boy, Solomon, received such a grave injury that he was knocked into a coma. However, as Bishop and Mortemori reached the climax of their duel, Guildmaster Timestamp and Guildmaster Liwanu intervened and stopped the fighting. The conflict was declared resolved by Liwanu, and it was put to rest. |
