X-MEN ROLEPLAY
STORYLINES

Population
When planning out the scene, the thought of a lot of people didn't really cross my mind. Comic roleplay had been dead for the past few months and the interest in this roleplay was kinda lacking at times when there was really only 12 people on the forum at most until yesterday. If we anticipated such a high demand, we would of did something different but the scene we had planned felt like it was going to be good - which I believe it still was, it just felt different because the rooms were rather small and not "themed" around large amount of roleplayers.

Spam
One of the hardest problems is to try and get over spam. I understand a lot of people are roleplaying their characters but if you see somebody trying to advance the scene (a staff memeber), do try and listen to them and somehow make your character realistically pay attention or something and refrain from the fight they're currently in and such. Apart from that, it's just something we have to try and do with. Scenes in the future won't be huddled in one big group, that was just because it was the opening. Now that it's over and done with, we'll be able to focus on more character developing scenes with small groups.

Roleplaying
From what I saw, everyone was able to stick to their character and roleplay good. However, we're still seeing the few unrealistic fun moments, which are funny sometimes but they can also be annoying, like "'ey n word, waddup we're the black uprising" etc. Let's stay away from that and keep the fun moments in the comic realism.

If you wish to add anything to the discussion (about weak/strong points, ideas to handling scenes etc. please do post below. A similar post like this will be written up after every scene to help improve the quality of the roleplay.

Thank you again for attending and helping us out, we hope to deliver a good roleplay through the future.

Good work on the first scene, and my character saying the N-Word is probably the most realistic thing that is happening ICly, there was no black rising simply black's uniting and become more of a brotherhood, I'll try not to use the word so profusely IC however.

It was a fun first scene but i agree with the point some people didnt know if it was IC or OOC half the time but that isnt the staffs fault just what I thought of the scene as a whole. Alot of people started using their powers in the VIP Area which was fine but personally i think its like a public place so would they be using it if they could hide it?

It was pretty fun, but sometimes it was a lot to handle since there were so many lines to read. Other than that, it was pretty immersive and lit.

Its was a great scene even though I did not participate much in the beginning. I also felt it interesting how the black students including myself made a little group. I am excited to see where this little group goes but I hope it doesnt get violent or dangerous for the other students. Overall great scene and thanks for everyone who joined

i think any messiness during that scene was due to the fact that we were running behind schedule as you guys might have been able to tell. won't happen again tho

future events, if they have such a large turnout as the opening did, should be split into different groups
but i think the amount of people there was just because of the hype for the opening and probably won't have such an annoyingly large amount of people there in future
