With my chat app, I've used GIMP's resizing tool to shrink the images of the two actresses, but unfortunately that has pixelated the two. When I was using Facebook's messenger though, and other images - for example on ZB - they shrink the images perfectly. My best guess is that GIMP is combining the pixels as it gets smaller, and this has the effect it does. Is there any way to maintain the crispness of the image? |

I know within PS you can swap images to Smart Objects and that preserves them better. I have no experience with GIMP though, sorry. |

I'm not aware of Smart Objects in GIMP, but I'll take a quick look around to see if I can find a plugin or something. Thanks
