I attended Montpelier High School with Zach in his senior year. I was new to the school (not the town considering my family lives there and I went to the elementary in 1st grade: I was one year ahead then). I was known around the school as the girl with tattoos and the baby. I was working, raising my daughter on my own, and attending high school. Zach and I had a class together. He made it a point to ask how I was doing and how my daughter was. No matter what, he made sure that the transfer to that school was as easy as possible. Even though he was what loners considered a "jock," he was never mean to any one. Fame won't change him or his spirit. I am so glad to see that he is succeeding in life. Not to many people from little towns have made something of themsleves. Way to go Zach and stay true to Pelier. It was great to see him at the graduation for the class of 07. He even let me get a pic. |
