Roerig's contract expired and the 23-year-old actor has opted to pursue other projects. So his character, Casey Hughes, is being written off to jail. Sigh. This really bums me out. If you're already missing Zach/Casey like I am, please join me in my unhealthy obsessing over the superhot screen caps and publicity photos on this fabulous fansite. Oh, and don't even bother leaving snarky comments below. It's not like I don't know I'm gay, OK?

I think you are great, Zach, and I hope you make it in anything that you do! ATWT will not be the same without you. I hope you are going to school or have another film that you are moving on to! Newbie Posts: 2 Group: Members Member #125 Joined: May 2, 2007	[SIZE=7] I will miss Zach so much. ATWT won't be the same with out him. I was able to make the trip to the ATWT Fan Club Luncheon for the first time this year and it was great. I was so lucky to meet so many stars. The friends I went with wanted to take a drink break but something told me not to. I was already in Zach and Alexandra's line. Thank God I didn't move. Zach ran down the line to take pictures with the people waiting. He was so kind to do that. I didn't get him to sign anything - he was off to the airport. When I talked to Alex I told her that they were great together and that I would miss him and them on the show and she said "I miss him already" It was so sad to hear and on top of it she looked saddened over him leaving. I wish Zach all the best of life and hope to hear what he is up to so all of us fans can support him. Who knows maybe someday he'll be back! Your fan, Lori Ann

I don't blame him for leaving "As The Gwen Turns" but it definitely won't be the same without him. His talent was underused. He and Alex got like a 1 minute scene on his final day bc as usual, everything was about Gwen! I feel completely robbed!! I hope he makes it big in Prime time or some other area. I just want to see him and real soon!! I would love to see him & Alex on a Prime time show together where their great chemistry can be capitilized on!!! She's only going to be a 3rd wheel on the show to the almighty Willen I'm sure. He and Alex are really good friends outside of the show and I bet she really is sad ....I know I am. ~Debbie~

That is rediculous! I miss Zach already and he also got cheated with the fact that they didn't end the show with his goodbye but instead it ended with guess who? Gwen and Cleo! It makes me so angry, they didn't appreciate him enough at all!

Newbie Posts: 1 Group: Members Member #126 Joined: May 3, 2007	I already miss Zach on ATWT. He will always be Casey. He and Maddie (Alex) are my favorite couple on all of the CBS soaps. To me they are the most realistic ciouple and I am really sad to see Zach leave. I don't think Zach got enough credit for his portrayal of Casey. He had great chemistry with Tom and Margo and of course with Maddie. He showed a wide range of emotions and was very believable to me. I am sorry he left, but I wish him all the best and hope that in the near future we are able to see him again.

The show is not ATWT it's the Gwen and Will show now. It's the same thing over and over with those two.....just drawn out. I feel Casey and Maddie's screen time was always second fiddle to Gwen and Will and they as a couple and all of us viewers got cheated in that sence. We are lucky that we got to see him exit. Dr. John Dixon, Dr. Ben Harris & Dr. Walker Daniels just never got mentioned again. They just were never heard of or talked about again. That's really poor considering John Dixion was on for what 40 years! Tom and Margo will eventually be like Bob & Kim and we needed another super Huges couple to contiue with that Huges saga and that should have been Casey & Maddie.

I am So Lovin Zach Posts: 19 Group: Members Member #98 Joined: November 20, 2006	I agree with you how could Zach not get nominated for a Daytime Emmy he is very deserving and has been on the show longer than Jen Landon and Even Alexandra Chando. Doesn't Jen Landon already have a Daytime Emmy? I love Alexandra and Jens acting to .moving on The 05-02-07 episode left me feeling very gipped what kind of goodbye was that ? In my opinion the character of Casey was very under used but I to am happy that we got to see him exit the show even if it wasn't the goodbye we were hoping for CBS could have written a better exit than that CBS really screwed up this time it is weird to just have characters and then never speak of them again. I to Already miss Zach on the show it really dull now wherever he is ,whatever he is doing I wish him the best of Luck and hope this is not the last time we will see him on Atwt

I haven't watched ATWT since November mainly because they gave Zach a stupid story line. I was able to catch his last day and I'm sooo sad that he's gone. I guess I really have no reason to start watching ATWT again.
