AS the title says, What's the scariest game scene you've experienced?

For me it was

Running through Kithicor Forest at night in Everquest was pretty unnerving back in the day. That's when all the undead comes out...

More recently I was playing the RE1 remake. The second corpse I tried to burn instantly stood up as a crimson head and started tearing the shit out of me, I really wasn't expecting that.

RE3: pretty much every appearance by nemesis during the first half of the game was good for a shot of adrenaline. After the halfway mark (From the clocktower on) it was a bit more trite to run into him, but his performance in the beginning was epic enough for him to win my "freakiest villain" award.

RE4: When you first enter the village of the ganados, if you choose to enter one of the houses and bar the door after the villagers swarm you. I don't know that "scary" is the right word... but it was definitely a rush. I've never had my senses that on edge during a game before

Wind Waker Those dasjfhkjfas re-deads. Everything else in the game seemed harmless, even them. And then I finally got up close to one of them, and they turn their head to face me with red dots for eyes.

Twilight Princess: Nothing is as bad as you get to the boss of the ice dungeon. *shivers* Damn two-face...

Ocarina of Time: Just mainly the music in the forest temple. It creeps me out to no end.

Silent Hill: I'm a wimp who doesn't wanna play after I just got through the demo of SH4. I'm already paranoid enough about supernatural stuff.

The very first time I was shown Bioshock (and later played it religiously), that "is it someone new?" scene was creepy as fuck.
Outlast in it's entirety is just a disturbing experience. That's another one.
When I was younger, The Suffering was one of those games your classmates advised you to play with the lights off. That was a good game, it's sequel, not so much.

So Fucking true Posted Image

Silent Hill series has great effects. Fatal Frame 2 freaks me out the most though. That game is freaking crazy, I swear. A ghost comes up to the camera when you don't expect it and the atmosphere is frightening....ugh, fun but scary...

Hm... well I don't believe I've ever experienced a truly scary scene from a game, but there have been plenty of creepy/messed up ones. Like the Lanayru cutscene from Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Messed.
Up.

And when I was really little (and I was really into playing LoZ Ocarina of Time), I had a nightmare of the dead Deku Tree placed outside my bedroom door. XD There's just something about a dead grey mustached-tree that just bleeds creepy. XD ^^;;

Im not gonna lie. Way back in Zelda 64 days I hated almost every bad guy in the game. I hated the forest temple where the giant hand snatches your ass up outta nowhere, lol. I used to turn the volume all the way down when I was at that part

Without a doubt the haunted hotel in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines as well as the part when you watch the video (when you're in Hollywood, with Isaac) with girl trying to get away from a house but is blocked and killed by small, disgusting creatures.

There was also Breath of Fire 4 when you finally find Elena and discover that Yuna has been experimenting on her although it's more disgusting than really scary.

Resident Evil 3. I'm walking down a hallway in the police station and all of a sudden, BAM! Nemisis jumps through the window. I jumped...fell off of my bed. Nemisis ended up killin the hell out of poor ol Jill.

Remake for GC. I'm playing as Chris while two friends are watching. We're chattin' and what not, and I walk up to a door to go into the library (I think?). Right when I enter the room, a giant spider drops down from the ceiling, and we all scream like girls...it was more hilarious than scary.
