Meh, I doubt anyone here uses Fireworks but I wanted to make a tutorial so yeah. If you have photoshop or something you can probably follow along fairly well though, I dunno. But yeah, here it is. 1. Start with a blank canvas for the sig, mine's 300x120. ![]() 2. Grab a stock from somewhere -- I'll be using this cloud stock. ![]() 3. Use both the dodge tool and burn tool on the stock. Set the exposure to 50 on both and use the Highlights range for dodge and the Shadows range for burn. I find it works best to do the same amount of dodging and burning.![]() 4. Make a new rectangle the same size as your sig and set it to 0,0. Put a transparent texture on the rectangle that is 100% textured. Make sure to use a texture that'll look good with the sig, and use a color that matches the colors of the stock but that you can still see. I'm going to use these white horizontal lines.![]() 5. Select the rectangle only and go to Commands > Creative > Fade Image. Select a fade that will place the texture in a place on the stock that is not the main focal point.![]() 6. Add the render. This works best with either an abstract C4D render or a fractal render. I'll be using a fractal render. It may be best to duplicate the render and place it in multiple places of the sig. ![]() 7. Make the render a matching color and matching lightness. In this case, I'll be going to Commands > Creative > Convert to Grayscale and Filters > Adjust Color > Brightness/Contrast, but depending on the render, you may not have to do the same.![]() 8. Add some vector images, like from dings fonts you can download from dafont.com. I'll be using an image from WM Designs 1. Make them be a matching color and put them underneath the texture you created.![]() 9. Add matching text and a border and you're done! Here's the finished outcome of mine: ![]() It didn't come out very well, hahah, but this is just the one I made for the tut. Here's an example of a sig in this style that didn't come out too bad: ![]() Enjoy and don't rip
