Here are some things to watch for when picking a render for your next piece.

Do's:

  • Pick a big render (a bigger render and you won't have problems filling your piece)
  • Pick a colorful render (a bland render makes a bland sig)
  • Pick a cool render (pick one that appeals to you and everyone else)
  • Pick a full render (it's hard to work with a render whose edges are cut off)
  • Pick an active render (don't just have him stand there)
Don'ts:

  • DON'T pick a choppy render (last thing you want is choppy render or one with bits of the original background in it.)
  • DON'T pick a low quality render (the quality of your render really effects the quality of your piece)
  • DON'T pick an overused render (this is related to the "Pick a cool render." pick something original.)

  • Bioshock
  • Final Fantasy
  • Half Life
  • Halo
  • Mario
  • Megaman
  • Naruto
  • Prince of Persia
  • Superman

TV Shows, Movies, and People

  • House
  • Superman (specifically from superman returns)

Music/Bands

  • Muse
  • Slipknot

this list is constantly being added to

is there anything I should add? what are your thoughts?
