How do I get new brushes in GIMP. I already got plenty of choices from DA. |

GIMP I have no idea on. In PHotoshop you open up the brushes, click on the little arrow, and press load brushes. |

look in the file you downloaded and look at the readme if there is one. if there isn't, find the GIMP file...then share>>gimp>>2.0>>brushes then copy it in there. |

That's weird... when you open gimp, there should be two boxes near the bottom of the tool bar. One should be black and the other white (or maybe both black or both white I dunno). Click (or double click maybe) on the left one (maybe right), and change the color to whatever you want. This should also change the color of the brushes you use to that color. |
