Glowing text is quite simple actually. You can use this with path tooling and stuff.

So you have your text layer. Duplicate it 2 or 3 times. On the bottom text layer to a gaussaun(sp?) blur of 5, then on the next text layer do it about 10. Then on the third one do it 20. It should look like that. I hope I am making it clear. Oh and you should change your name back to skittles.
