Hello everyone. I've been a member of this forum since the beginning but keep forgetting to formally introduce myself. I live in Washington state and have no direct connection to anything Filipino or Maharlikan, but it's been fun learning :) (Well, I did have a Filipino friend or two growing up in southern California.) I've done undergraduate and graduate studies in ancient texts and languages, anthropology, archaeology, and genetics.

I "discovered" the Aklatan online in 2013 after the Lord set me on a very different path than the one I had been traveling for a decade. I felt Him wanting me to search this record and share what I learn online. I created a blog, Modern Apocrypha, for this purpose and to explore other records as they come along. Keeping up with everything has been a much more difficult task than I previously realized. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak ;)
