Alright, since this special is near and dear to many people on here (those of us that are AGU fans), you can discuss it here! I thought it was a decent episode, which again portrayed Chuckie's bad luck in "stealing" a tree. Not only that, but Kimi and Kira get stuck in Japan and it looks like they may not be able to make it home! But it all works out in the end, and we get an awesome rendition of "Noel" by Susie.

Any additional comments on AGU's only Christmas special? :)

I think it was pretty good, the whole plot line, or story line made sense. When I first saw it I was mad, because of the tree was near the trash can and Chuckie took it, well at first I was mad because ok, its in the trash and he takes it, no problem, but now that I think about it he should of asked first. But anyway it was good but a bit hard to remember all of it, because its been so long since I saw it. I think it would be great if there was an all new never before seen in any part of the world AGU Christmas episode, with more about everyone being together for Christmas, because this one was mostly based one Chuckie, and Chaz and Kira, and Kimi, I know there was the others in there, but not like in the Rugrats special, I know Rugrats is suppose to be different from AGU. But it should be based on all the families being together but that will never happen. :crying:

I've only seen it twice (both times occuring last year) but it became one of my favorite episodes pretty quick. I felt sorry for Chuckie when he first found out he had inadvertantly stolen a Christmas tree, but I do agree that he probably should have asked those people first before taking it away. I also thought Kira getting all mad at that one guy trying to take away their cab was pretty funny!! :rotfl: That's the first time I can ever remember seeing her freak out like that in either Rugrats or AGU.

I have a question pertaining to this episode and the Pickles. So Didi's side of the family is Jewish. I never really followed Rugrats that closely and it's been awhile since I watched Rugrats, so this may have been covered. But are Tommy and Dil able to celebrate BOTH Hanukkah and Christmas?

Well Stu has no particular religion (though Zen Buddhism has been shown a couple of times for him) so that's very possible.

Look at the gang from Bad Aptitude. Know why they look so unhappy? Their show ended with a crying Tommy after being dumped...at age 11. Help us add on to AGU to give it a proper ending here.

So was anyone here offended by the mention of "God" in this episode and other "after-life" mentions, i.e., the burning-bush guy, etc?

Personally, it didn't bother me.

Honestly, I can only picture the non believing people having a problem with it. I personally thought it was refreshing to see something like that in any tv show at all for once, especially christmas time.

Ya I would have to agree with you on that, being a Christian myself, I found it kool that they used it in the episode, and being in the right way of how they used it.
Like you said I only see non-believers offended, im really not sure why a believer would be offended by it.

Really, though, this episode should've at least made both Jews and Christians happy as both religions are referred. Like Klayton said, the only group offended might've been athiests.
