Figured I would start up a post about this recent addition to CN. This is quite a show. I don't usually watch reality shows, but this animated take on the genre is a fun series. |

I haven't seen a full episode yet, but I've seen quite a few bits and pieces of it and I've thought it's a pretty funny show. I've never liked survivor that well on CBS before because it seems like a really fake show to me, and all the things they've done on Total Drama Island so far that I've seen do a pretty good job at making fun of it. |

Oh yes, they do (make great fun at the reality show concept). LIke noted, I didn't care much for those reality shows (like Survivor). For Total Drama Island -- one week they do a "wilderness survival" contest, another week the campers are facing their fears, etc. It's been a great series. CN has been doing times where they run a marathon of all the episodes aired up to that point, while new episodes premiere each Thursday night. |

It definitely seems suited more for a teenage-and-up kind of crowd. After all, I did see one of the female characters lose her top during one of the competitions. lol They do give it a TV-PG rating, though. That definitely fits at least. |

Yeah, it's more for teens/more grown-up folks. With (as you mention) the shirt accident Heather had. As well as a variety of other things. |

I finally saw two full episodes this past saturday and I've become hooked now. :nod: The first one was about all the contestants eating all those various disgusting dishes of food (I must say that cook in the show bears quite a resemblence to Chef from Southpark :P :lol: ) and the next one brought back that one crazy unibrow chick (I still need to learn people's names) that kept trying to eliminate that one ditzy girl for apparently backstabbing her. Since this week they eliminated someone who had already come back then got tossed again, I guess this means we might be seeing a lot of these characters make return appearances from time to time. |

Glad you got to see those episodes. Think that second one was last week's episode (which I had set to tape on Thursday's premiere, but haven't gotten to watch yet). The disgusting foods one was quite nasty. As for the characters, the show started off with 22 contestants. So can take a little to know all the names, etc. |

I'm a little confused about this show right now. I've seen a few little clips on Youtube of the last episode of this show. Has it already aired on TV, or was this from a previous season? :confused: I'm still a little in the dark about this show and don't really know what's going on in it. |

They're down to the final 6. They eliminiate one character each week, so I guess it's about a 20-22 ep season. |
 Look at the gang from Bad Aptitude. Know why they look so unhappy? Their show ended with a crying Tommy after being dumped...at age 11. Help us add on to AGU to give it a proper ending here.

From what I've read, it's aired in Canada already. With the US just recently airing it (still premiering episodes, each Thursday night). There have also been some edits done for the US version (mostly small things, but I know of one episode having a big change). Edited by Jon529, Oct 20 2008, 07:37 PM.

This keeps getting crazier! The latest episode having the 6 remaining campers paired up (and each pair handcuffed together). Then they had to do 3 different contests. |

The latest episode was another wacky one! Down to 3 contestants, they have a game of "I Triple Dog Dare You". With the voted-off contestants providing the dares! And next time it's down to the wire, as they're now to the final 2 contestants. |
