Character Race: Lizardman ----PRIMARY ABILITY: Venomancy - The ability to manipulate poisonous chemicals and toxins, for all their properties. Toxic gas, acidic liquids and more. Limits vary depending on the state of the toxin being used and generally the control of said toxins can be influenced from 200 yards away. Similarly, the manipulation of the toxins themselves must be controlled with focus. Disrupting Greely's focus in turn disrupts his control over poison. ----SECONDARY ABILITY: Way of the Scale - Through years of vigorous martial arts training, Greely has developed his own unique fighting-style and technique that combines that natural life-energy all living things have with a strange connection to lizards and amphibians. This ability is limited by Greely's energy and over-exerting himself can quickly tire the poor lizard out. Currently, he is restricted to three styles. The Chameleon, The Kobra and The Frog. Each style replicates the natural properties of these creatures in their own-right (for example, with the snake style he can utilised his claws to be used like venomous fangs and move his body with the quickness of a snake.) and the spiritual connection he has with reptiles allows him to communicate with them at a sentient level. ------PRIMARY ITEM: Staff of the Lizard King. An enchanted staff that can grow in length and width at will. It also grants him control over all reptilian creatures. ------SECONDARY ITEM: Sash of the Old Ones. A ornamental cape that provides formidable defence, despite it's lightness. Made of scales, it provides a venomous wall of defence, and can form into two pairs of wings at will. (Allowing him to glide through the air, not fly.) The most useful property of this sentient cape, is that it can animate itself so as to lash out at enemies and act almost as a side-kick in combat to that effect. It also provides the wearer with a ominous magical barrier (that can be used once every hour.) This barrier can deflect almost any attack, depending on the attacks physicality.
Character Personality: Layed-back, friendly, impulsive, obnoxious and devilishly cunning Greely could easily be considered a bit of wild card. Despite all of this, his master often referred to him as "pure of scales and heart." Above all things Greely fights for freedom, and endlessly tries to challenge himself, determined to over-come any challenge placed before him regardless of how impossible it is, which acts perhaps as his biggest flaw and his greatest trait. He likes to joke, and act thick-skinned, often making him seem apathetic towards others but as a drifter he does his best to maintain friendships with whoever he meets and enjoys learning, discovery and adventure above all things. Sadly, Greely can be incredibly lazy due to how "relaxed" he is and this makes it hard for him sometimes to maintain friendships, or see certain things through depending on how important they are to him. He loves to dance, drink tea and considers himself an intellectual purely because he reads books and drinks tea (which to him all intellectuals must do.)- fascinated by nature and it's beauties Greely could be considered as an enigmatic hippy.
