Senator Maria White discovered the Space Colony; created originally by Umbrella as a back up plan should the virus become uncontrollable. Within four years that’s exactly what happened. The president and many other higher ups in the U.S. Government made a dash for the Colony without any strategy of getting there safely and they were all infected and turned before they could reach the Colony. At the same time… Special Agent Nora Hunnigan had lost contact with the agency at the time of their deaths, thus walking blindly though her mission. Her objective was to follow the footsteps of Umbrella, but not get too close. Only retrieve enough information to attempt to predict their movements and stop another viral outbreak. It was Nora’s job to sift through the rubble of the Arklay Mansion, Raccoon City, Spain, and the Black Market. After losing contact with the Agency she found a facility and suspected it was the location of a dangerous man by the name of Albert Wesker. She found this out after posing as a virus buyer, getting into the system of Black Market and traced the virus steps all the way to England, and this facility. After entering what appeared to be an abandoned research facility, one of the few left in the world that wasn’t over run by infectees. She was attacked and detained by a masked man only to wake up a week later on the Colony, unable to remember what exactly happened during that week. She only had small clues here and there to go off of to find an answer. Leon S. Kennedy who stayed behind with US Senator Maria White and a few others, had suspicions of the Home-Grown Agent Hunnigan, if for no other logical reason that the possibility that she came in contact with Wesker. The two had attended the same Police Academy together after all, and developed a special understanding of one another; however, people can change drastically in a matter of months, what could years do to a person? Jill Valentine was making her escape from Raccoon City some ten years ago, only to meet the man of her dreams in the crisis. Felix Arrington. They successfully escaped with the help of each other and possibly motivated one another’s survival Afterward Jill still had her obligation to Chris Redfield in the war against Umbrella. She owed it to the fallen S.T.A.R.S. Members, Chris, and herself. So she unexpectedly left Felix who’d been quite the distraction for her, and set out to own up to her obligations. Felix; however, didn’t take it so well, but decided to busy himself with suicide missions for the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance in the US. It left him scarred physically, mentally, and thanks to Jill’s heart-crushing blow, emotionally. Jill achieved her goal and ended up back in the states only to discover it was nearly completely overrun by the virus. She and Chris discovered the Colony’s location and went to it straight away. They found Claire Redfield there, alive and well, while Jill found Felix Arrington there, but not doing so well, and located in the Colony’s ICU of the Medical Bay. Jill quickly discovered the cold individual that Felix had become and soon became aware of his hatred for the Senator, and authority figures across the board. Claire Redfield, having given up her ways of combating the virus physically, but rather attacked it on a political front. After the tragedy in Harvardville with Angela and her brother Curtis Miller, Claire decided to help out more from the medical angle which is where she dipped her hand on the Colony. Dr. Sandra Pierce, the only medical Doctor on the colony and nearly the most unappreciated being there. She was still angry at her older twin brother for having his hand in creating the virus. Dr. Jackson Pierce created an anti-virus for HIV, only to have it stolen from him and Umbrella turned it into the bio-weapon it became. Even with her hatred of her brother, Sandra agreed to assist him with finding a reversing cure while on the Colony. Curtis Miller mysteriously arrived at the Colony of course thought to be dead; however, he was no fool to inject himself with the G-Virus and not have something of a back-up plan. Whatever his back up plan was, it caused him to revert back to something of human, but he is currently unable to recall what it was exactly, but he is also on the Dr. Pierce train for discovering the reversing cure. Kevin Ryman, having also attended the academy with Leon S. Kennedy and Nora A. Hunnigan, was another early arrival on to Colony, sharing guard duty with Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and Felix Arrington…Even though he and Jill had a bit of a scuffle, it has passed since then and of course with the reunion of two very old friends from the Academy, being Leon and Nora, and a bit of a crush he’d secretly developed for a certain Blonde Doctor, surely his sense of hope for the Colony has been restored. Sean Harris was the survival expert who brought Agent Hunnigan home to the Colony and between the Senator and Leon, he was investigated thoroughly; however, everything matched up with his background check, no matter how unsure the Senator and Agent Kennedy were about him. Sean Harris was not their immediate danger though, but instead, Felix Arrington threw the colony a curve ball when he attempted to murder Chris Redfield during the Colony’s launch, only to wound Chris in the right shoulder. Nora Hunnigan became the hero of that day when she successfully detained Felix Arrington as well as the proof necessary to convict him guilty in his attack on Chris Redfield… It wasn’t too long afterward; however, that the Senator unexpectedly ordered Nora herself to be detained as well and she was locked away by none other than Agent Kennedy himself and the Senator refuses to give a detailed reason as to why… Dr. J. Pierce, Dr. S. Pierce, and Dr. Curtis Miller all worked around the clock on not only finding the answer to the complete anti-virus, but also for a machine that Agent Kennedy demanded be created as a top priority, even before the Anti-Virus. After the machine was successfully developed, Agent Hunnigan was released from detainment to walk freely among the rest of the Colony… This now freed up the three Doctors to resume their work on this cure while Senator Maria White calculated their time limit on the Colony. She came up with less than seven years, even with rationing their supplies. Sure they were set on food, water, and oxygen for well over 10 years, but during their premature launch, they had to dump a fuel tank in order to successfully launch, thus cutting their heat down to a dangerous level and without heat in outer space, they would all freeze to death… Five years later… Dr. Sandra M. Pierce, and Dr. Curtis Miller discovered the Blood Orchid held the key to the recovery of Earth. There was only one location on the planet that the Blood Orchid existed, and that was in the deadly jungle of South Korea. The nearest Bio-Research Facility was across the sea to Japan. With the help of Chris Redfield being their pilot, an emergency pod was released from the Space Colony, carrying the three separate teams to Kunsan Airbase in South Korea. From there, Chris Redfield, with Co-Pilot Angela Miller dropped the teams off in their destined locations, one being as close to the jungle as they could get and the other was placed on the helipad roof of the Facility in Japan. This team was comprised of Jill Valentine, Felix Arrington, Sheva Alomar, and Dominic Graves. The team retrieved the Orchid successfully, and were then flown to the Japanese Research Facility to meet up with the other team. The other team was comprised of Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Nora A. Hunnigan, Dr. Jackson Pierce, Kevin Ryman, and Carson McCoy, and their mission was to secure the lab for the arrival of the Orchid. Sadly enough, both teams have lost members, Felix Arrington disappeared from Jill’s side somewhere in the South Korean Jungle, and Carson McCoy was taken by the business end of a Tyrant’s attack in the Japanese Bio-Research Facility. The Jungle Crew consisted of Sheva Alomar, Dominic Graves, and Jill Valentine when it was all said and done, and were picked up via chopper by Chris Redfield and Angela Miller and linked up with the rest of the group in Japan; however, with Nora Hunnigan’s near death experience, and Jill Valentine’s unconscious state, it put a time limit on the team to reach the lab. Chris Redfield assisted Leon S. Kennedy, and Claire Redfield with the disposal of an unclassified Tyrant, and Jackson Pierce lead the way into the actual laboratory to begin separating the healing agents from the orchid itself, and mass producing it. Chapter End With the success of the team’s mission, Chris Redfield and Angela Miller spread the orchid’s healing agents all about the United States and anywhere else that was local at sun rise. The Space Colony returned to earth with a crash landing somewhere near Washington D.C. and ended up linking up with team sent to Earth by night fall. It was up to the team to ensure the safety of the people within the Colony and also find a safe area for them to call home, for the time being, the Colony was the safest place to remain in order for the team to rest up, and then head out the next day. Senator Maria White suggested securing the White House first, seeing as it could house the 300+ people on the Colony until they could secure more buildings… (( If anything seems to be off, or if I'm missing something, please contact me via E-mail, or I.M.
