Twas 1-1 and liverpool played pretty awful! The luton goal was a riise own goal. Glad luton got the reply tho cos they deserved it and they need the money!! |

Yeah, Luton were the better team they deserved the draw maybe even the win. I was soooo disapointed the the players performances, really crap. |

It was very good for Luton and as Malty said - they really need the money! I hate seeing clubs so short of money and needing help and being in Admin - blegh. Wrexham we're all in this rubbish and Liverpool actually helped us get some money by playing us in a Friendly and well with the reply at Liverpool hopefully Luton will get some money to help them out for a little bit. The OG though, you couldn't help but laugh! Just the way he went to kick it up and away but his hand hit it and it went in off his hand, i bet you if he tried to do that again he couldn't! |

I know poor john arne lol i want stevie and nando back, ohh yeah vik liverpool played wrexham in preseason july time right? Luton were really good today not just working hard, they outplayed us too, i want arby back too stevie fin was rubbish 2day aswell :o |

Yep - we usually play them every season in July/August anyway as we're pretty close to eachother and many Liverpool fans live in North Wales and so its a game which attracts a lot of fans which means money for Wrexham. So i guess Liverpool help play their part in helping Wrexy raise some cash. I never went to the friendly this season, but i went to the one last season and i remember that it was one of the hottest days of the year and everyone was just all 'bleghy' cos it was so hot and no one could be bothered. Still there were a lot of fans like always when Liverpool come to Wrexham so it wasn't too bad. Riise was playing, Craig Bellamy, Robbie Fowler, Dudek, Finnan and Hyypiai was there too so wasn't too bad all in all. |

Yep, they play there and yeah the reserves did used to play there before they left us to play somewhere closer to Liverpool as the travelling to Wrexham was too much. It helped get a couple of pounds for Wrexham too. Liverpool said a big thank you to Wrexham for letting you use our ground which i thought was nice of them. And when Bellamy was there(and he attacked Riise with the Golf Clubs or whatever it was) he had his wages taken off him and that money of his he gave to Wrexham as we were towards bottom of the league(just like we are this season :angry: ) and the money went towards a couple of new players on loan and well many have said that if it wasn't for them loan players we would have gone down so his money helped a lot. So i guess overall as much as i'm not a fan of Liverpool their club and player have done a few things to help Wrexham. Its always nice to see a big club help a little club :) |

Yeah Vik i remember always reading about the racecourse ground but it kinda stopped. F**kin craig bellamy :angry: muppet, he attack JAR cos he wouldn't sing, what a tool! Sienna no danny wasn't on the bench but i think he travelled, no idea what that means anyway we are desparate for him back <_< |
