Chapter Five Bojan smiled and took her by the hand. They walked about the town, as he pointed out the local landmarks. "I know, it's very beautiful here, but I bet yours is more interesting", he said. "In a way, I guess you could say that. We're actually from Kensington, it's a district of West London, within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It's quite a populated area, and most people like to go to the High Street," she replied. "Notting Hill isn't far away either." "Notting Hill, like the movie?" he asked eagerly. "OMG, don't tell me you watched Notting Hill!" she looked at him in surprise before laughing out loud. "I just heard of it, that's all," he stated innocently. "Oh, you're lying!" she couldn't help teasing him. "You totally saw it!" He paused, took a deep breath, then said nonchalantly "Ok, so what if I have?" She look up at the cute expression on his face, forcing herself to stop laughing. "I'm sorry, I'll quit teasing," she promised. He managed a smile and they continued walking. "Just one thing," he suddenly said. "What?" "Don't mention this to anyone, especially not my team mates," he pleaded. "I'd never hear the end of it." She smiled good naturedly. "I won't. Promise." "Thanks," he said, smiling back. "So," she began, his gaze making her nervous for some reason, "tell me more about Barcelona. I want to know what to expect." "Well," he started, "my favorite place is definitely the beach. Barcelona has seven beaches, Sant Sebastià and Barceloneta are the largest and most frequented ones." "I love going to the beach!" she said, feeling excited for the first time since she got here. "Then you have the Gran Teatre del Liceu opera theatre, the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, the Teatre Lliure and the Palau de la Música Catalana concert hall," he continued, making sure he didn't forget anything. She listened carefully, smiling every now and then; passion was evident in his voice. "Oh, and Sónar Music Festival," he added at the end. "Looks like I've found my tour guide," she joked. "But seriously, I can see why you love Barcelona so much." "Sounds like you're starting to love it too," he told, testing her. "Me?" she raised her hand dramatically. "Never." "If you say so," he grinned. "I still haven't seen anything. The drive from the airport was very fast. It all went by in a blur," she told him sadly. "Hey, don't worry. When we go to our next game, maybe you can come with us," he suggested. "I would love that, but my parents would never approve," she said, giving him a look. Bojan, chuckled, giving her a hug. "Maybe we can kidnap you. You can't kidnap the willing," he joked. "Very funny, Bojan. I will ponder your offer," she said, pretending to think. "Ha, you're funny. Well, I gotta go back now. Great talking to you, Elizabeth," he said, waving goodbye. ~ "Hey Bojan, anyone home?" joked Gio. Bojan suddenly snapped out of his daydream, his cheeks turning red. "Oops, sorry about that," he mumbled. "You thinking about a girl?" asked Leo. Bojan blushed an even deeper shade of red. "Yeah,", he admitted. "Ooh, who's the lucky girl?" asked Gio in a girly voice. "Well," he began slowly. "I met Elizabeth James today, she's cool", he said. Gio burst into laughter, singing some spanish love song. 'You got a dirty mind", said Leo rolling his eyes. "We all do. So Bojan, you're gonna date our manager's daughter? What a way to kill your career, " cracked Gio. "Well, how old is she?" asked Leo. "She's my age, I think," replied Bojan. "Most importantly, is she hot?" Gio asked. Bojan shook his head. "Is that all you think about?" Gio looked confused. "Well... yeah." "Not that it matters, but yeah, she is. Actually, she's the prettiest girl I've ever seen." Bojan confessed. "I say, go for it. It was about time your shy little self got a girl," cracked Gio. "Thanks, guys. But I can't just ask Daniel James' daughter out." Bojan stated. "Don't worry, dude. We're behind you all the way", said Gio.
