It was pretty crap...But omg, Anelka, when james tackled him. He almost landed on his neck, eeee

Oh yeah, & when ribery took off his shirt it said "gilardi" he was a french commentator who died at just 49 :o

you know, england has the best players on paper, they have lots of talent but they don't mold well together and thats the problem, they do look and have a team that can win a tournament, they just need the right direction from a proper coach. And this is coming from a non-england supporter.

i really disagree that they have the best players, but they have players that are better than what they perform.

thats why i said they have the best team on paper because the players come from the best clubs in england and they do look like a team that can win a tournament but they don't mold well, its just like a real madrid they have so much good players in the past ronaldo, carlos, figo, zidane, beckham yet they failed because they didn't mold well, but all were talented/

I just think one of the reasons is that the players play with fear when they play for England where as they don't when they play for their clubs. I'm pretty sure that some of the players know that if they don't score a penalty or they let in a goal ect for their club they know that the fans will forgive them and they won't be vilified for it as much as they will be if they do it for England where the press and england fans just rip them to shreds. David James and Frank Lampard are examples of that.
Hopefully Fabio will fix it all while he is in charge :)

Thats a good point Malty, the media in England is really harsh on the players, but I dont know if Capello can really fix that he can just win so they dont have anything to complain about.

The squad for the games against United States and Trinidad and Tabago on 28th May & 1st June.

David James
Joe Hart
Chris Kirkland
Wayne Bridge
Wes Brown
Ashley Cole
Rio Ferdinand
Phil Jagielka
Glen Johnson
John Terry
Stephen Warnock
David Wheater
Jonathan Woodgate
Gareth Barry
David Beckham
David Bentley
Joe Cole
Stewart Downing
Owen Hargreaves
Tom Huddlestone
Steven Gerrard
Jermaine Jenas
Frank Lampard
Theo Walcott
Ashley Young
Gabriel Agbonlahor
Dean Ashton
Peter Crouch
Jermain Defoe
Michael Owen
Wayne Rooney

As much as i like to see Chelsea players in the England team i can't help but thinking these games are a complete and utter waste of time and the fact that ours and Man Utd's players will have to play in these games a week after the Champions league is a bit silly. He should use these as games to test younger more inexperienced players imo.
