Nando & David are doing a great job but hopefully nando won't always be taken off for cesc to come on, I think nando could make good use of cescy's passes :D

Tika taka :D :D :D :D

Iniesta is class, he had been ill and not training and still managed to set up villa last match. High hopes for him tomorrow B)

Oooo I can't wait for the Sweden v Spain game later.

What is better than getting to see Freddie and Cesc in the same game?

The only problem is I don't know who I want to win.. so I will go for a draw. haha. I don't really mind actually but I hope Freddie & Cesc both score. :D

What a dilemma I faced today though... first of all in the tennis semi final a minute ago I had to choose between Roddi*k & Nadal!! My 2 favourite tennis players and then Roddi*k lost. :(

And now I have to choose between Sweden and Spain!? Arghh.

Come on Spain!!Hope they play as great as they did on Tuesday. Not happy about Cesc not starting, but I understand the whole xabi-iniesta point. Hopefully he will come on as a sub. And poor Villa. I hope his finger is ok.

Anna, why cant you watch the game?
It was a very intense game I must say. Whoo, it was a very hard win, but VERY VERY deserved.
Spain did a very good job, though Sweden were defending very strongly. I got annoyed at Sweden, because they kinda kept defending all the 2nd half, but the Spaniards' strong will and David Villa's class made it possible for Spain to get their well deserved 3 points...

YAY... :D Viva EspaŅa and olé for Villa & Torres. :$

Spain were quite lucky though to be honest by getting that late late goal... although I suppose you could say that Spain should of got a penalty earlier on in the game.
Sweden worked really hard and defended but lost concentration at the end there. :(

I knew it would be a close game though unlike my Dad who said Spain would win 4-1 again! lol.

I wouldnt say that Spain was lucky to win the game because it was well deserved after a fight like that, BUT it was lucky that we got that goal at last. :)

Spain have to vs Italy in the quater-finals, gonna be a tough game

but i think spain will win, coz of there pace and there attack is really good :D
quite worried about there defence, coz it's weak, specially if Puyol is out injured :(

gonna be a great game, cant wait :D

i really want spain to win it this year, coz they always under achieve, when they have a squad which is capable of winnin trophey

COME ON SPAIN!!!!!!!!

What a quater final!

Its gonna be an interesting match, I think there'll be a few goals in it too. Both defences are questionable at times, even though the keepers are two of the worlds best.

Spain haven't beat italy competitively in 88 years, yes 88  <_< But imo there is no better time to beat them than now, they have two brilliant strikers and two midfielders who can make a killer pass with silva on the wing who can can cross.

Spain are No1 in attacks, No1 in shots and No16 (in other words the best) in shots faced. Reasons to be confident :D Spain will also be better rested since most of the 11 starting on sunday won't be playing tonight at all.

For me Pirlo being suspended is a very, very big loss. On motd after the game, they were showing italy's chances, and from the 6 attacks they showed, Pirlo was the there with a pass every time. Big, big miss. They're also missing gattuso but he isn't such a big miss, but thats one less player to harass xavi I suppose.

& While spain have two of the most in form strikers, Italy have an indifferent one. I can't believe luca toni didn't score last night. He had 5 brilliant chances which he somehow didn't score, can't be good for the confidence that.

There is no love lost between these two countries and its going to be an intriging match. If spain can get in their heads they can win, I believe they will but of course italy who are world champions have something to prove.

Hopefully tika taka will rule the world, well europe anyway :D
