I'm pretty sure Aragones is gonna step down after Euro 2008 and Del Bosque is supposed to take his job. But that's what he said after the World Cup 2006, and Del Bosque (the old Real Madrid manager) is linked with practically every job is Spain   |

Squad for italy Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Pepe Reina (Liverpool) Defenders: Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid), Joan Capdevila (Villarreal), Raul Albiol (Valencia), Carles Puyol (Barcelona), Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Fernando Navarro (Real Mallorca), Alvaro Arbeloa (Liverpool) Midfielders: Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Xavi (Barcelona), David Silva (Valencia), Albert Riera (Espanyol), Xabi Alonso (Liverpool), Ruben de la Red (Getafe), Marcos Senna (Villarreal) Forwards: David Villa (Valencia), Daniel Guiza (Real Mallorca), Luis Garcia (Espanyol), Fernando Torres (Liverpool) Torres doubtful for Spain Striker struggling after Old Trafford clash Last updated: 23rd March 2008 Liverpool striker Fernando Torres is a doubt for Spain's friendly with Italy next week. Torres was given a tough time during Liverpool's 3-0 defeat to Manchester United and came off ten minutes from time. Reds boss Rafa Benitez admitted Torres could be forced to withdraw from the Spain squad after picking up a few knocks at Old Trafford. "He has some knocks on his ribs and ankle -- a lot of knocks and a lot of kicks," said Benitez. "I was just trying to protect him. The doctors will do a scan and we will see." Benitez will be hoping Torres will be fit in time for next weekend's Merseyside derby with Everton as both sides battle to finish in fourth spot and secure a place in next season's UEFA Champions League. |

It's a shame about Torres, but then at least he's wont pick up the injury from playing with Spain - Isn't that what normally happens? I'm not even going to mention who I think should be included in this squad because obviously it's just never going to happen with Aragones in charge  But yeah come on Spain!! |

The guy is saying that Real Madrid's players are sad... and players from other teams and Arbeloa and De La Red, both that never played in Spain before, are happy. And he reminds of the fact that Arbeloa and Ruben are from Real Madrid B or Castilla. Of course Madrid's guys are sad... we lost at home again in the same month. -_- |
