I like Italy as well. I don't know why but their style of football really attracts me even though usually I like English football (club-wise). Plus Luca Toni has got the longest legs I have ever seen and he can strike a mean goal so he's cool. And Cannavaro is class. There's no getting around him. Buffon is the best keeper in the world as far as I'm concerned. He's dynamite.

have to say ive always agreed about Buffon, but Casillas has really turned it up a notch, i think he might be better :o

Buffon: Casillas Is "Supernatural"

The two are commonly regarded as the world's finest goalkeepers, although the Italian veteran has so far plundered more awards than his Iberian counterpart.

Still, Buffon admitted that, despite being over three years Casillas' senior, he feels that he can learn a thing or two from the Real Madrid stopper.

He said, "Whenever I see Casillas, I try to improve.

"Iker has always been a good goalie, but this season he has been supernatural.

"It would be almost impossible to be signed by Real Madrid as long as Casillas is there."

Casillas, meanwhile, stated that he was equally inspired by the Juventus 'keeper.

The Móstoles-born international said, "Buffon has always been a huge point of reference for young goalies.

"Signing? It's normal for Real Madrid to be interested in such a great player."

This is rumoured to be the squad for Euro 08, but it might be BS so....

Anyways here it is:
Goalkeepers: Abbiati, Amelia, Buffon

Defenders: Barzagli, Bonera, Cannavaro, Cassetti, Chiellini, Gamberini, Grosso, Materazzi, Oddo, Panucci, Tonetto, Zambrotta

Midfielders: Ambrosini, Aquilani, Camoranesi, De Rossi, Gattuso, Montolivo, Perrotta, Pirlo

Strikers: Del Piero, Di Natale, Borriello, Quagliarella, Toni, Rocchi

The big shock being that Rocchi has been taken over Inzaghi and Cassano.

Italy won 3-1 yesterday against Belgium in a friendly before Euros. Di Natale scored twice and Camoranesi scored the other.
