Italy won 2-0 over Georgia, Daniele ( ) scored both goals. The first was frickin amazing.

Still not a super performance, but with all the injuries and what not im just happy with 3 points.

And SO happy for Daniele! :D His first Italy brace! :D

Italy won today 2-1 over Montenegro, was a great match, very entertaining. Aquilani (<3) scored both goals for Italy, and Vucinic scored for Montenegro, hopefully meaning they will build to win this weekend with Roma. lol. Gonna put up some pics later, Canna stripping at the end :lostit: .

Watch out behind you Italy :ph4:
I can't wait to play them, as much respect to Italy but they haven't been their best squad in Euro Qualifiers, Euros and so far, so I can hope!!

Lippi: Cheer up Cassano! Monday 15 December, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Italy boss Marcello Lippi has thanked Francesco Totti for his recent praise and advised Antonio Cassano to be more positive.

Totti recently hinted that he would consider a return to international duty if approached by Lippi due to his enormous respect for the World Cup winning Coach.

“I was really happy to read his words,” Lippi said. “Mostly I was pleased by the demonstration of affection and the bond of esteem that ties us.

“I am also happy for Totti that he managed to overcome his physical problems, just as he managed to do to feature in the World Cup in 2006.

“All I can say as to his decision to retire from the international game is that I respect it completely, as I do Alessandro Nesta's choice.”

Sampdoria striker Cassano has claimed that he has no chance of making La Nazionale under Lippi.

“It hurts him to be so pessimistic,” Lippi explained. “He shouldn't think that my position will keep him out of the national side.

“As for Amauri, I won't consider him while I am not able to pick him.”
