I'll just be supporting my chelsea players so Portugal, Germany, France and Czech republic. Also Spain cos i'm part Spanish but i won't be the same not having England there to cheer and then moan about when we go out on Penalties in the semi finals :( lol

Portugal will miss having no England either to beat them in the Semi Finals on Penalties! :P

About The german Squad...

Marko Marin(Mönchengladbach).
Patrick Helmes(Köln)
Oliver Neuville(Mönchengladbach)

I like it how theyve gone into the 2.Bundesliga to pick out a few players. I know its just the Provisional squad but hopefully one of the 3 wil get into the proper sqaud to go to the Euros. Although these two teams are being Promoted all them 3 players have been super for their clubs this season! I remember watching Marko Marin for the Under 21 German Squad (or could have been Under 19) And hes a name that has stuck in my head and ive noticed this season hes done well for M'gladbach. As for little Paddy...Hopefully he can get himself into the main sqaud!

Jermaine Jones(Schalke)
Torsten Frings(Werder Bremen),

Happy for these two as well. I wasnt sure Frings would make it due to being injured for the majority of the season but im very glad Loew has put him in the squad. Also Jermaine Jones hes had a pretty good season for Schalke. No Pander though   Odd Choice.

haha i'm sure they will  I won't miss watching it tho <_< lol

Just seen the France squad
Goalkeepers: Gregory Coupet (Lyon), Mickael Landreau (PSG), Sebastien Frey (Fiorentina), Steve Mandanda (Marseille)

Defenders: Eric Abidal (Barcelona), Jean-Alain Boumsong (Lyon), Francois Clerc (Lyon), Julien Escude (Sevilla), Patrice Evra (Manchester United), William Gallas (Arsenal), Philippe Mexes (Roma), Willy Sagnol (Bayern Munich), Lilian Thuram (Barcelona), Sebastien Squillaci (Lyon)

Midfielders: Alou Diarra (Bordeaux), Lassana Diarra (Portsmouth), Mathieu Flamini (Arsenal), Claude Makelele (Chelsea), Jeremy Toulalan (Lyon), Patrick Vieira (Inter Milan)

Strikers: Nicolas Anelka (Chelsea), Hatem Ben Arfa (Lyon), Karim Benzema (Lyon), Djibril Cisse (Marseille), Bafetimbi Gomis (St Etienne), Thierry Henry (Barcelona), Florent Malouda (Chelsea), Sidney Govou (Lyon), Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich), Samir Nasri (Marseille)

I think i'm going to have to root for France there are 3 of our players and one of our ex players in the squad lol.
I'm quite suprised that Clichy, Sagna and Trezeguet have missed out but with sagna i'm assuming thats because he has been injured for a few months.

The thing with France is that they already have 2 amazing LB with Evra & Abidal and so Clichy will always struggle to go before them in the squad. As good as little Clichy is hes not quite Abidal who is just fantastic. Then after him its Evra to get past who again...he does a brilliant job with his runs forward and defending. Its just unlucky for Gael that France have decent LBs. He probably will get his chance though as Abidal is 28 and Evra is 27 so in a few more years Clichy will probably be the main LB for France. Then maybe thats when Traore whos just 18 now will be battling with Clichy for the LB spot for France
And i guess the only reason Sanga isnt there iether is due to him being injured, which is a shame.

Yeeeey Ben Arfa :D Hopefully he'll get a proper call up but i doubt it as he really hasnt done that much this season, but still...hopefully he'll be inthat squad.

No Trezeguet..hmm..but really that Domenech has never really been the best of friends with this guy. But still Trez has had a good season but then i guess you can say Gomis has had a decent season for St Etienne too and with Domenechs relationship not the best with Trez i guess you can sort of see why he wasnt called up. Still an odd decision as i would have prefed Trezeguet than Gomis.

Sagna is injured so I can understand that

Clichy on the other hand I really can not understand because Abidal has not been up to his usual standards over the second half of the season so I think it should be Evra then Clichy to be called up.

Yeah, Abidal really has not been that good for Barca this year, Clichy deserves to at least be in the squad, and I think he is better than Evra too (as did the people who picked team of year in EPL)

and YAY for Philippe, he so deserves this

I think that the decision was actually really really close, I think it came down to apperances this season along with other little stuff.

So? I mean he is still better, he at least deserves to be there.

Someone told me on another forum that the reason Raul wasnt called up was because in the WC when he didnt start he had a bad attitude and would whine and moan about it and upset the team.

Thats what they said, but I dont know if its true and I find it hard to believe myself
