Arshavin! Let's sign him. Russia vs. Sweden was a lot more interesting than bloody Spain vs. Greece. Xabi Alonso was good though. MOTM. Is he really going to Juve? Cesc wasn't exactly at his best but I thought I saw some wonderful passes here and there. OH MAN! I just realised I have a math test on Monday. Which means I probably shouldn't watch the Spain vs Italy match on Sunday because it's screened at 2.45am :( |

Xabi was brilliant, and yeah after the euro's he'll be off to juve. For us he's been well below the level he showed tonight for a while now but his replacement barry, will never have the potential to reach xabi's level :( Cesc was good, he was further up the pitch than usual for spain. & with a math test later that day, maybe it wouldn't be the best idea! |

Come on Deutschland!!! B) I really don't know which way it will go, which means it will be a good match. Aww, I feel sorry for you Sam! :( You must be really dedicated to stay up to the middle of the night to watch the games! If it's important test, I suppose you shouldn't watch it, but if not...! |

Urrghk! Screw math. I'm super excited for the Russia vs Holland one! I think both teams play fantastically and I hope it will be one of those crazy 5-4 matches or something. Yup. Lep, all the matches are shown at 2.45am. That's why I was so pissed off with Greece because I stayed up for their opening match and they played rubbish. <_< |

^o) that sucks  It always is like that, you'll stay up late especially or miss something to see the match and it's either boring, or your team lose!! Not long until Portugal V Germany :D |

Sam, it was the same for me staying up until like 4am to watch bra-arg & it was 0-0  Hmm, I think I'm gonna watch this instead of going to football, it'll be no fun watching highlights if I already know score! |

this match is going to be really interesting because Germany havent been playing that great, but Portugals defence isnt very convincing. I think I want Germany to win though. |

Geht Deutschland!! Fantastisch!! :D Germany played brilliantly, deserved it. Glad to see them playing like that, rather than like they did Vs Croatia and Austria. No tears from Portugal yet? ^o) |

Germany deserved to go through. It was a really good match aswell, I thought portugal were gonna score a 3rd! poor moutinho getting injured :-/ Alot of players seem to shoot way too far out, the managers must be telling them to incease the ball swerves but most of the time it ends up in row Z. |

I noticed that too, a lot of the players were trying to score, maybe, fancy good goals and going for glory themselves but missing drastically, rather than passing to a player and trying to score a goal as a team. Did you see that Podolski shot, though? It was from way out, I thought it was going in  |
