Roma are definatly going to come into these games thinking that they will be able to reverse the result from last year. They have become a much better, more mature side since the match at Old Trafford. Manchester feel like they have gotten an easy draw, and are pleased with it, and they certainly have reason to be. Unlike any of their league competition they dont have to worry about facing an english side until the final. In the end, Im hopeful that Roma will be able to advance farther then last year, but again they have unluckily drawn the best team in the competition. This time it will be tougher for both sides since they know each other so well and I think if Roma play to their potential they can move onto the semifinals. |

Another walk in the park for United and an embarassing trashing of the Italians by United.. :P... Might be fun watching Italians getting kicked out by Englishmen again. I love the British.. :lol: |

i dont think this will be as big a win as last year but i would be confident that we can go through as we already beat them at OT earlier in the year and our young players held then to a draw in rome also |

Roma have matured, but so have United. We are better this season than we were last season, and now that we're out of the FA Cup, we've got fewer things to worry about and we can really focus our strength on the CL. I don't think it'll be 7-1, but we shouldn't have a lot of difficulty. |

I hope United win... I am a bad bad Liverpool fan ... But it would be VERY interesting playing United in the semi's... We want a change from Chelsea.. We all know the result of those ;) |

i think Man utd will go through, but lets look at th semi final, they will prob get Barca and i really can't see them beatin Barca, 4 me i think Barca is the team 2 avoid. it's a nice thing that they've avoided gettin an english team though, but they would have 2 beat Barca 2 get 2 the final, i really can't see it. |

Nettie I posted schalke-united but it was me guessing the draw on thursday... whoops :wacko: I know united guarenteed to go through but I'd still fancy them to play barca in the semi's....barca aren't that great this season, united could beat them if they dominate the midfield... Lala...the winner of arsenal-liverpool play fener-chelsea in the semi's... the only way we will play united is IF we both get to the finals... |

Aha... All righty then.. Another Chelsea-Liverpool Semi final shouldnt be a problem, right? They have the last CL Semi's against us like ghosts after them :P I would love to play United in the final... eeeeeeeeeeh, that would an explosive intense game like no other. I think Barca are a worse team then Roma this year, especially now that Messi is injured. If Man Utd get by Roma then they would surely get by Barcelona. I dont know how much you guys have watched either team, but there have been times when Barca look shocking, I mean I think if Aguero can rip them apart Ronaldo and Rooney should be able to too. |
