The only reason I hope Liverpool wins is cos I want to face them in the final hopefully. Probably going to be a 0-0 or 1-1 draw or 1-0 if anyone wins.

Yaaaawnnn......

Chelsea has to win sometime, I think they get it done this year, Liverpool has been very lucky in the CL so far. If that continues then I doubt Chelsea can do anything, but if some breaks go Chelsea's way I can see them winning.

I'm quite confident for this match. Rafa will have to play a different way against us as they are at home first rather than us which is what normally happens.
As long as it doesn't go to penaltys <_< lol

Russia here we come!! ;)

TORRES OVERWHELMED BY EURO EMOTION

Paul Hassall 20 April 2008

Fernando Torres admits the power of the Anfield crowd nearly drove him to tears following the emotional 4-2 win over Arsenal in the last eight of the Champions League.

The Spanish hot-shot believes the club's run to the semi-finals of the competition has provided him with the biggest matches of his career to-date and is now hoping for another sensational night in front of the Kop when the Reds take on Chelsea in the first-leg of the all-English tie on Tuesday.

"The emotion I felt after the Arsenal game was very, very strong. I have never felt like that before," said Torres.

"I was almost in tears at the end of the match when the crowd were singing.

"If that was a quarter-final, I can't imagine what it will be like playing Chelsea.

"Without doubt, these are the biggest matches of my career.

"I know football means so much and can give everyone strong feelings but it's still a new experience for me. I scored my first important Liverpool goal against Chelsea - and I want to do it again on Tuesday.

"That goal gave me confidence to believe I could score in the big matches."

After earning a well deserved rest as as an unused substitute in Saturday's 2-0 win at Fulham, Torres is eager to continue the scintillating form that has seen him fire 30 goals in his debut season in England.

He insists the exertions of his first year in the Barclays Premier League have not left him tired going into the business end of the campaign and believes he is now ready to add more goals to an already impressive tally.

He added: "People ask me if I am getting tired now because I am coming to the end of my first season in England.

"Of course it is a hard league but I do not feel tired at all.

"When you are scoring goals and the team is winning games, you have more energy.

"It is only when the team is struggling and you are not playing well or scoring goals, that you don't feel your best.

"My legs are in good shape and my heart is ready for the matches to come."

I'm petrified. ;)

If we have frank and didier back to play which i think we will, Ballack not so sure but i'd go for
Cech
Ferreira - Carvalho - Terry - A.Cole
Makelele
SWP - Lampard - Mikel/Ballack - J.Cole
Drogba

I think a 1-1 is on the cards.

Coz we all know who wins there, eh?
I hope we win without going to penalties, and -I believe that we can do it.
@ Kem... We haven't been THAT lucky as people like to say... The Semifinal spot came after HARD work + some luck, but not extremely much. Just face it, Liverpool FC players are mentally strong and they believe in themselves till the last second.
But well... It is going to be hard to go through because Chelsea is hard to beat, though it is REALLY pleasant to do so... Gives me an incredibly good feeling

@Nettie: Aww, hun... I know you secretly like them Liverpool boys :P If not for their persons, then because they're so sexy..
