Interesting this week that no english team has won, apart from my obvious disappointment with the Arsenal draw, this makes me happy. I think it shows that these clubs from other countries, despite the fact they dont have teams full of superstar players, dont have 50 million plus to spend, and dont come from a league where everyone is saying the best football is, can still get a result against them. It shows that courage and belief can just pull you through, and that anything is possible. :D

(ok maybe i am still high on obama winning, but thats my 2 cents)

-_- In the match report on the BBC website they didn't even mention it! It said something like "Gerard got a penalty after being fouled by an Atleti player" like, what?! :blink2:
tbh he doesn't even seem like a nice guy, he's always moody looking and moaning, whinging etc.
The worst thing is, yeah Ronaldo, Eboue, Young for example dive, but Gerard actually goes on about how it's a horrible part of the game, and he would tell off any Liverpool players he sees doing that!

 My spanish teacher is an Atleti fan and we watched it on Spanish news site, and he goes "!Que Cono" Thinking we would understand, and I went 'y creo tambien'
stevie is actually a lovely man lep. :priyasbf:

but i DO agree he went down tooo easily
