It's also kinda a bribe and a huge SHOO BARCA SHOO message. I'm stating the obvious, but his appointment will have 2 possible outcomes; Cesc will either sink under the pressure or rise up and turn his form around. Knowing Cesc, it's probably the latter. Ha, I have one more paper to go but I don't care. I'm going to wake up at 3.30am tomorrow to watch him captain us for the first time.

I'm so proud of him...even though he got the captaincy in the circumstances you wouldn't want someone to get a captaincy. I'm trying to imagine how he will be feeling right now: -happy/excited cos he's fricking captaoin -scared cos if he fecks it up everyone will blame him, plus there is a lot of expectation, plus he is young. And also scared because of the situation of the club. -determined to turn things around and get the club back on track and prove people wrong. It is going to be difficult for him. This is one of the worse situations to be made captain- when there are fights in the squad and when we seem on the brink of a crisis(maybe a bit dramatic) due to the fact that the squad looks like it has no confidence whatsoever. But I believe only he out of them all could transform the situation and unite the dressing room, after ade said he arranged social meetings. Not that that has seemed to work....but I'm sure 'll do great. It's amazing to watch a player start from the bottom, make his way through the ranks, and be given the armband to one of the biggest clubs in the world! I'm sure it's something that every young kid dreams about, including Cesc. I know that he's not going to be able to change the club morale overnight, but maybe his being named captain is indeed the change that - over time - gets this team back to playing the way we all know they can!

Arsenal	I'm happy Cesc is captian, i think he'll do a great job as captian, little concerned because he is still very young, but from last nights game and seeing him as captain, i think he'll be able to handle the pressure, when we play chelsea at the weekend is going to be a big test!
