The order varies every day :D	Haven't they proved this book was a hoax or something cause it was written with a type of pen that didn't exit by the time?? :blink: I read the book, it's really beautiful, but I don't know if it can be trusted to be real.

I read her book ages ago, maybe 5 or 6 years ago, and it's still fresh in my memory. Hers is such a touching story and I'm a HUGE WorldWarII nut, so it was really something I loved, although it was so sad. :( I visited her house in Amsterdam...I cried. That can't be true, about her not having written it, by the way. I mean there's clear proof in her house and everything...whoever told you that doesn't know what they're talking about. The order varies every day :D	Well, many believe Sherlock Holmes actually lived so :S But I really read the study about the book, the especialists said it couldn't be original because the ink its written in was from a kind of pen just invented later.

And for her to go through that, well for anyone to go through what they did is really tough, and she is around the same age as me and i cannot imagine myself doing something like that ever! so im just going to say, the book is a really good read and the bbc programme is very good End of Kathryns mini story (: EDIT :] - there was no sherlock holmes? :o Edited by Kathryn, Feb 4 2009, 11:39 PM.

Well, listen...this is just ridiculous, to say she didn't exist and comparing her to Sherlock Holmes. There is proof, from real people such as Miep Gies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miep_Gies , http://teacher.scholastic.com/frank/tscripts/miep.htm ) who were there, who saw her. There are family photographs of them in their house, people's accounts of their family being taken to a death camp, and so on. This is just ridiculous. Anyway. To other World War II interested, did any of you see any of the wonderful WWII films that came out over the winter? I've seen Valkyrie and Defiance, have not seen The Reader yet but I intend to! Did anyone see it and what did you think?

The order varies every day :D	I didn't compare Anne and Sherlock. I just made a paralel. Wiki isn't exactly the most reliable source there is.. but ok. I still have my doubts. Anyways, her story, whether true or false, is beautiful. I'm done posting here and causing comotion.
