Managers are bringing out the mind games as their clubs scramble for position heading into the business end of the season, the resumption of European action looms large and the transfer market awaits a flurry of activity. However, one man, the captain of Arsenal no less, has distanced himself from the whole circus. 21-year-old midfielder Cesc Fabregas is injured with knee ligament damage and admits that he's had to switch his mind to another channel whilst he recuperates. "I am not really thinking about football, watching games, following the transfer market - nothing," he admitted in the Arsenal matchday programme. "I am just forgetting about everything to do with football. "Even my girlfriend is surprised because it is unusual for me. To be honest, though, I am off football until I can start to get fit again. "This is the most difficult part of being injured: not being able to get out there and touch the ball and be there with your team-mates. "I will just have to stay as positive as I can until I am back playing again. Then, I am sure I will come back stronger." source: goal.com thoughts anybody?
