Sunday February 8, 1:30pm Uk, 8:30am est We MUST get a result in this match, personally I wont be happy unless its a win after what happened last time, the team has to be really fired up for this, ready to give 110% out there. Arshavin is most definatly not playing, but he said he will be in the stands watching, hopefully he will get to see what Arsenal football is all about. Ade has a great record scoring against the Spuds so im hoping he will knock in one or two, and Robin can add some more. Diaby is suspended, so we are going to most likely see Denilson and Song in the midfield, and hopefully for the last time Eboue out wide. Come on Arsenal!!! :gooners: |

I guess Arshavin got around to getting his visa and stuff sorted out faster than people thought, because hes been included in the squad. He could come on as sub i think, doubt he will start but who knows. i know we defenitly need to step up our game.....i think if our defence are out in force and look solid and alumia doesnt have a wandering eye and luks alert than i think we'll do fine but i do have one bad news for you gals EBOUE is back in the team noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :-/ so am worried, i doubt arshavin will b match fit and if he is in the team i then think its best if he comes on in like the last 10 minutes just to get a feel of a north london derby ;-) but we shouldnt take any risks adebayor has looked laszy lately so am hopin he gets his mind right lol and RVP hope he plays like he has been but make sure he doesnt get injured!!!! |

yeah Villa won again, they havent lost since nov. 9 :o im really worried we wont catch them only good news is Chelsea drew, they are looking more catchable than Villa now, and they play Villa at Villa Park next weekend. |

So here's the deal ARSHAVIN and EDUARDO r both on the bench so am soooooooo xcited half time 0-0 EBOUE GOT SEND OFF FOR 2 BOOKABLE OFFENCES 1st one was talkin back to the ref so that really silly of him!!! and second one was due to kickin modric wen modric fouled him and he kicked modric while he was still on the floor!!! so hes really do my head in...we should have sold him he brings nothing to the team!! and club ADEBAYOR pulled a nasty hamstring he couldnt even walk he was in that much pain bless him so his replacement was----------------------->BENDTNER And the sp*rs players r fuckin annoyin me cos they keep fallin over and try gettin freekicks and tryin to book our players :angry: Edited by LoveStoned89, Feb 8 2009, 03:39 PM.

FT 0-0 woow our defenders were immence today especially toure and gallas clichy has got an head injury he clashed heads with big head bent and he came of worse he was bleeding so badly!! so gibbs came on for him....bendtner had a shot on goal late in injury time but cudicini finger tipped saved the ball but thats all he did he was shocking his controlling was shockin his passsin was schoking samir nasri did so much he must b really proud of himself he really is a great player....hes such a good player RVP was everywhere today tottenham were the better side but we came up good in the last 10 minutes!!! modric is definetly man of the match but if it went to our players it would have been gallas!! almunia made some important and outstanding saves so he deserves a pat on the back! clichy did well controlling speedy gonzales aka lennon robbie had a few good chances too....but he didnt really contribute just like pavluchencko (sp?) and bent the were quiet eduardo and arshavin were warming up but never got the chance to be involved they must have been warming up for a good half hour all in all good that we managed to draw and keep a clean sheet with ten men!!!! |

Agree! There were times when it could have been so much worse, spurs had at least 3/4 really good chances on goal. Almunia had a fantastic game i thought and Bendtner came really close, just not his day. |

Eboue was so dumb today! I never want to see him on the pitch again, i think he really cost us big time and if he hadnt been so stupid we probably could have won. :angry: (i do think his goal should have counted though) As a stand alone result it was good to get a draw since we had 10 men for 2/3rds of the match, but overall its not good enough, we really needed a win today. I thought the first half alot of our midfield was bad, but as the 2nd half started some people really started doing better, namely Song who really improved. I thought our defence did really good, and they are the reason we got a point. Denilson and Bendtner i thought were poor, but they both worked really hard at least. Such a crap game though.. we found it hard to even keep hold of the ball for most of the game! Spurs had most of the possession and most of the chances. :blink: It just went from bad to worse for us throughout the game I think. First Adebayor going off injured, then Eboue getting sent off and then Clichy going off with a nasty bloody head! :unsure2: We did well to finish the game 0-0 though considering we were down to 10 men. We are so behind the leaders now though, we have no chance for the title. Let's just go for the FA Cup and the CL! :D |
