So what songs do you typically listen to while RPing? Anything unusual? Anything thats strangely inspiring, or sets the mood perfectly? Enforcer's Themes: - Navras // Juno Reactor - Down with the Sickness (Editted) - Birth By Sleep // Kingdom Hearts Soundtrack - Anything for You // Evanescence - Ecstasy // ATB - Heed Our Warning // Steve Jablonsky Weaver Themes: (Arachne / Bodhi) - Alarm Bell // Gundam 00 - Attack // Gundam 00 - Intervention // Gundam 00 - Spiritus Elektros // Immediate Music - Legion // Immediate Music Anybody know any music to set a good creepy, suspenseful mood? I bet Chaos probably has some tracks from Silent Hill.... |

Well, when I'm actually writing the RP I don't listen to music at all as I find it way too distracting, I think this is because I'm such a big music person... or maybe I just have A.D.D.? Who knows. Odd though, now that I think about it because music is such a big part of my day to day ritual (I spend about 3-4 hours a day doing it). I always have found that listening to it has inspired my real life in a lot of ways, hence why I'm moving all the way across the province to begin studying it in a few weeks. Even have a treble clef tattoo on my leg that I got back in April. ^_^ But yeah, I can't seem to combine DCD and music. |

I'm halfway between Adrian and Mai, actually. There's some tracks that really work well for thinking or even for writing, but I have to be in a very particular, focused place. If my mind's not entirely on the writing, music gets upgraded from 'background noise' to 'complete distraction. |

I just play whatever's appropriate at the time. I can usually tune out background noise pretty well (and if I can't, then turning it off really isn't gonna help me do anything; I'm in the wrong state of mind to begin with), but if it's the right music, it helps the cadence of writing. I don't really tend to have a 'playlist'; if it sounds like it's what I'm going for, then I'll play it in the background. |
