The irony, of course, is that as I read that I was being distracted from the painstaking work I'm doing on a novel. ...But you know what? I'll play your game, at least a little. I'm going to write my Energy Quest. Let's see what happens! |

Novella? I just can't marathon for 50k words in a month, however crazy I may get in smaller bursts of time (20k in a week). Despite my ample free time, I won't be participating But I may as well make a pledge here, to myself, to get Chaos out of Haven before the month is out. |

I was so bored from writing papers the other day, I just broke out Word and crunched out 1500 words for Cybertropism. I saw this project a while ago, I think. I want to read the finished products, the contest just sounds amazing. I say we enter as Team Chaos and wipe the floor, pumping out 50,000 words in 20 days. |

We can take turns, passing the manuscript around from chapter to chapter! Keep in mind the point is quantity over quality. It can be the most terrible 50k worth of words ever written and it'd count (though I imagine proper spelling and/or grammar are preferred). |

I actually will enter next year. This year I will be far to busy with Uni and by sporadic social life (ie occasionally going out and getting rat-arsed (english term: very. very drunk)). Next year I'll have no social life and may find time between the masses of uni work to put together something cohesive enough to be considered a story. I like the idea of Team Chaos but writing collaboratively is a lot of trouble and would require months of planning. Trust me I've tried it. Also ends up with very clear changes in writing style as one person changes to another. |

Oho, but perhaps blinding myself in order to instill in you false confidence was part of my own machinations? Wheels within wheels within wheels, Twi. |

Of course, I could have manipulated Twi into manipulating you into blinding yourself because you thought you would be manipulating him in order to keep you from being able to pull your coup. |

Dance my puppets dance! I'm dealing with getting stuff in for my Creative writing class, and I* have acutely used slightly modified version of Halle, Solaris, and John in some of the assignments, so that is was fair that you guys know and this seemed as good as place as any. (And letting you know is part of my plan...MAHAHAHAHA!!!) |

Well we're on to poetry now... And most of their appearances were in bits taken out from the lager story I made for the final short story. Hmm, I guess I could put some of you in as some of the doomed officers in the last story, still have until monday night. (Ahhh, such childish tactics Wolf. A shame I've already played out all possible scenarios a hundred times in the last second. I love being a post-singularity up-load. Oh, I did mention that didn't I? No, sorry.) P.S.: I feel a bit egotistical saying this, but anyway, If you guys do want to take a look at them let me know. I mean the interactions here have been very important in shaping their characters so again seems at lest fair for the option to be there. |

Go for it. Would that be a run-of-the-mill temporal singularity? I prefer the technological singularity. |

Hmm... I would have tried this provided I had started on November 1. Maybe next year then. I have a few ideas in mind for this little challenge... As much as I want to join in on this little thing, I am far too busy with real world and establishing myself on this site... |

Notes: First assignment for creative writing class, writing a brief story or bit starting with the sentence: “Where were you last night?” “Where were you last night?” Sam asked as he walked into the kitchen, with a wary gaze towards any forth-coming words. The hung up phone was still in his hand. Halle didn’t look up from reading the newspaper. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” She took a sip of her coffee. Sam slammed his hand down on the table, shaking the napkin holder and the peppershaker. “It was supposed to be your night off! You can’t keep doing this sort of thing.” Halle simply turned the paper over and kept reading. “Don’t ignore me.” “Fine!” Halle threw the paper across the table and got up from her seat. As she moved towards the door to the hallway she stopped to pick up her cap from the table. The badge on it glinted in the morning light filtering in through the windows and their half drawn curtains on the eastern side of the building. She glanced at Sam and gave him an angry stare. “Excuse me for caring.” She then briskly marched out into the hallway and disappeared around a right corner to her room. Sam ran a hand through his red hair. Sighing he glanced down at the paper Halle had thrown. It was open to the ongoing coverage of the string of murders. |
