Here's the deal, we lost in labor for one simple reason. They had a better tactics for taking the center. In the diagram below the strategic points are in green. You will notice the ground around the center cap is not. That's because soldiers shooting up are worthless unless you score a direct hit.
Anyways, here's what they did.

Heavy/Doc - they were probing left and right side of the upper left tunnel.
Demo - controlling the upper right window
Soldiers - one was always on top of the upper left containers
Scouts - they were going through the lower left house and looping around going back up through the lower right house, after Brad got the sentry up they were just running around the middle taking the health
They switched up the scouts a few times with demo/soldier/doc.
