Administrator Posts: 389 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: January 5, 2008	So tonight was our first 8v8 match, however the opposing team, the Elite Soldiers didn't contact us 24 hours before the match started so we struggled to get a team together. Although we should have called the win, we let them have it (its pre-season, afterall) and decided to a 7v7 scrim for fun. The members we assembled were Cheesus, New Age Retro Hippie, mp3, Doctor Lag, Eric, Jspace10 and myself. The map was Badlands, which I was looking forward to for two reasons: 1) the map rocks 2) never really gotten a chance to play in in a scrim. Turns out the map was a ton of fun in scrimming...and...drum roll...we won! In fact, we beat them 5-0 and they never really advanced past the middle point. It was nice to finally beat them even though it didn't go down as a win at CAL. We also played a little Gravelpit, where we once again, won. It was hard to tell whether they were trying or fucking around, but either way we felt strong and we able to easily penetrate their defenses and eliminate their medic with ease. I wish it had been a little more challenging, then we could have learned something or improved a little. In fact, it was so easy we werent even calling out opponents or forming uber rushes at all.
