This issue has me puzzled. Earlier today my computer spiked from a comfortable 40C (according to Speed Fan) to 100C. As I was asking for help online my computer completely shut down and all attempts to turn it on resulted in it shutting off a few seconds later. I unplugged the computer, open it up and tried to figure out what the deal was. But I know next to nothing about computers and couldn't figure it out. So I let it cool off for an hour, and then plugged it back in. I turn it on and its 90C, and then it crashes again. Another hour goes by and I turn it on, and its at 80C. Speed Fan shows it rising 1C every two or three seconds, so I hastily shut it down. My computer has never done this before and I'm pretty concerned. What should I do? |
