Administrator Posts: 389 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: January 5, 2008	I've decided to resurrect the recap topics regarding our scrims and matches. I don't remember all the details from the scrims we've had this week, but I do remember the CEVO matches. The purpose of these topics are to inform members/readers who weren't around for the particular matches. If I'm not available for any specific match, I'd ask that you guys create your own recap topic. Round 1: Team Cheesus vs. t3gaming (Sunday) This match took a little while to get going, as their server crashed multiple times. We ended up playing on our own, and Lamer was able to load up all the configs quickly. The map was Gravelpit, which we have a fair amount of experience on. The match ended up being an easy win for us, a result of our better teamwork. TC: 1 t3: 0 Round 2: Team Cheesus vs. The Attack Bears! (Monday) It looked as if this match wouldn't occur and we would get a FF win, but they turned up with 5 players at the last minute. Our numerical advantage combined with our superior teamwork allowed us to pull out a flawless victory on Well. TC: 1 MauL: 0 Round 3: Team Cheesus vs. focaL (Wednesday) After watching some pwnage.tv videos and determining that they were a very solid bunch of players, we didn't enter this match expecting to win, but instead to gain some experience on Dustbowl. They ended up slaughtering us pretty quickly, as expected. But since that match we have been more sucessful on Dustbowl, beating the team SHOCK in a scrim there, despite the fact that we lost to them on Badlands and Junction. TC: 0 focaL: 1 All right, that concludes CEVO Week 1. With our first loss, we are now in the lower bracket of our group. If we lose another match, we will be eliminated from the tournament. Our next scheduled match is on Thursday, and is on the map Junction. We have plenty of time to practice this one and get good at it, so hopefully we can pull out a win against whoever we play. P.S. I cannot remember who played in each match/scrim this week, but the main players were SirLamer, Erzhik, Kelgari, Eric, GreyFox, mp3, Arkley, Brad, Jekena and myself.
