After being particularly lazy making the last skin, I dug up this old skin I had made in July 2007, I thought it would be appropriate for this forum. So, I made some split second decision making and here we are with an all new Vote Cheesus forum. I hope you all like it! As always, feedback is appreciated especially considering some of you are proficient with web design.

This forum style makes my eyes bleed. It would be hard to select a color palette with a more terrible lack of contrast than what you have here.

The old style is better. Honestly.

And the previous skin had lots of contrast? You could say something along the lines of, "Increase the contrast between the text and the background color", instead of being rude.

I have no idea what brightness settings you are using, but the skin is easy to read from my screen and doesn't make "my eyes bleed" as you so kindly put it.

Text/background contrast needs to be heightened a little but I like that it's less bright.

All right, I heightened the contrast. Satisfied, Lamer?

Sometimes the truth hurts.

Your words aren't the truth, and I won't listen to someone who thinks that is the case. It's an opinion and nothing more.

Read. Also read.

That's awesome, I'm glad you realize that and I respect that. Most people go their whole lives and don't figure out that they can do that.

Congrats, kid! You'll go far. :)

Anyway, thanks for fixing the contrast issue!

We need 120% more cheese going and 78% more cheese-ish colors to win the war.

I'd be willing to do the custom header and icons. That is, if we go with an orange palette. Ya know, cheese wedges in place of arrows and such.

The problem with that skin is that it doesn't fit the Vote Cheesus campaign theme. The one you see here was quickly thrown together for the first round of a skinning competition. It's merely temporary and I can make something much better then this and the one you linked to. All the skins on these forums will fit the red, white and blue theme of the American flag, in addition to the yellows of Team Cheesus.

So how married are we to the whole "vote Cheesus" motif anyway? I mean it's kinda funny and all, but we're going to eventually drop it aren't we? I'm not saying we need to change the team name or anything, I don't care about that, it's just that when designing the website etc it seems like it might be easier to go with a cheese theme rather than an "elect the cheese" theme.

Doesn't bother me one way or another, just putting it out there.

I'm still figuring out the details, but the website was founded on the premise of it ALL being a joke...so.
