Padawan Assignment 5 When people search for a leader, there are always factors, or qualities, that they will look out for. A Jedi is called to have leadership skills because these skills enable the Jedi to serve effectively. The skills of a leader puts a sense of trust between the leader and the people that the leader is serving. For example, if a Jedi does not have good motivation, how can he serve others? A positive, friendly, and outgoing personality further benefits the Jedi's work. You can work much better with others with this sort of personality, that's for sure. A Jedi must be at peace with those around him, to get the job done. |

Thanks. Assignment 6 The ambassador skill is important to a Jedi because as Christians, we represent Christ. As individual Jedi, we represent the Jedi Order. Being an escort is important to a Jedi because a Jedi's mission is to defend the weak. We must be able to protect other people. A Jedi also must be a good guard in order to protect others. A Jedi must be a good liberator in order to eliminate threats surrounding the people he is protecting. A Jedi also must be able to deliver an important message, no matter what( like the postman ). I think these skills are important because a Jedi must be prepared for whatever life throws at him. |

Assignment 7 1. What is prayer? Prayer is a one-on-one conversation with God. It makes a relationship with God very intimate. We give God our anxieties, our problems, and our praises. We can ask God to help us, and also thank him for blessing us. 2. Does God always know what I am thinking? God is all-knowing, He always knows what I am thinking. 3. Does God always give me what I want? God does not always give me what I want, but He always gives me what I need. 4. Does God know exactly what I need? Yes. 5. Why doesn't God answer my prayers right away? God sometimes wants us to grow spiritually, because we are not yet ready for the answer. He also wants us to see for ourselves if we really need what we are asking for. 6. Should I believe God will answer my prayers right away? Yes. In the parable of the persistant widow in Luke 18:1-6, the widow came again and again to the judge, asking for justice. Because she kept bothering him and was so persistant, her request was granted. In the same way, we as Christians should persistantly pray and believe. 7. Is there a special way to pray? There is a model that Jesus gives us- The Lord's Prayer. Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who tresspass against us. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen. 8. How should I pray? We should pray sincerely and make our words meaningful. Our prayers do not have to be elaborate. |

Assignment 8 2nd Set For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.-John 3:16 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.-Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift from God: not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.-Romans 6:23 Jesus said unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me."- John 14:6 Behold, I stand at the door and knock:if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with me.- Revelation 3:20 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his prescence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made us and not we ourselves; We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.-Psalm 100 3rd Set After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on him, and behold a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well-pleased."-Matthew 3:16,17 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.-Matthew 28:19 O praise the Lord all ye nations. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: And the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.-Psalm 117 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we saw his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.-John 1:1, 14 For in him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form. -Colossians 2:9 I and the Father are one.-John 10:30 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on his shoulders, and his name will be called Wonderful Councelor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.-Isaiah 9:6 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: Praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: Praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: Praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: Praise him with the stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: Praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.-Psalm 150 |
