Greetings to All,
I was very pleased to hear about this site that has Christian Jedi & wish to thank the person who gave me the website so I could come over here. I'm a Catholic & I'm a lightside Jedi costumer because I deeply feel Jesus wanted to me to do that costume from Star Wars. Since then I've been able to reach out to all people much easier because I do my best to act like a lightside Jedi in or out of costume. I am also learning all the time who Jedi are. I really like the ideals that lightside Jedi have to live up to. I will admit I'm not a youngster by age. I am retired.

:) Again Greetings All
Thank you for that very warm welcome. Here are a few facts about myself.
I am 60+ yrs old  . I'm an oldster who acts like a youngster  :) .
I love Disney--favorite character is Peter Pan.

I have liked Star Wars since it 1st came out but in 1995 I really became fond of Star Wars & began my Star Wars collection--which has grown up a lot. My favorite Jedi are Yoda & Qui-Gon Jinn.

In 2002 I sadly :( lost my husband to liver cancer but Jesus has His way to get a person back up on their feet---it may take awhile but He does it.
In 2002 I was very confused, bewildered & totally unsure what to do with myself since I used to do everything with my husband. It took till 2005 & Star Wars Celebration 3 to get me back interested into life again. From 2002 to 2005 I was learning to live by myself & then brought in my Mother & Aunt to live with me because they needed help.

Once I got back into Star Wars---I decided I wanted to wear a Star Wars costume & I do know the Lord wanted me to be one of the good characters. After I had seen The Phantom Menace---I fell in love with the Jedi & how they dressed. I wore my 1st Jedi costume to C3---it was not a good one but it was a start. Since then I've learned to make my own Jedi costumes---the cloth parts & have had to get the other items as time went on.
I have since learned the Jedi Code & Jedi Creed--which I do say daily to remind myself that I should act like a Jedi even when wearing civilian clothes.

Since I've become a Jedi costumer I've enjoyed traveling, meeting people, signing autographs, getting autographs, etc. I had the honor to walk in the Disney World Star Wars Parade---that's a lot fun. I do belong to some other Jedi clubs some of them are for costuming. To join a costume club a person has to be 18 yrs. old. It's a fun hobby but it can cost a lot, unless you can make everything yourself. It's amazing how quick one learns to do that when you have to.

One of my dreams is to build a life size R2--I belong to the R2 Builders Group.
I have the pieces, just have to get the space to start on my "little guy".

If anybody knows how to play the computer game of KOTOR or Jedi Academy, I'd love to hear some hints. Just wondered. Just pm me if you do, if not no problem.
I don't keep up with the newest ones because I simply don't have time to play them. I know there is one called the Force but does anybody know if it's out yet?

I'm not exactly sure where yet, but if it's ok I can post a picture of myself in Jedi costume. I really love wearing it. I also wear it for different holidays with my family. My Mother calls me her Jedi Daughter.

Greetings All,
I did my 1st intro under profiles when I 1st joined. Since then I've undergone my Youngling Trials & am now a Padawan Learner. My thank you to Master Silmerion Skywalker for being willing to teach me.***bows***

I'm in process of learning more about being a Jedi in real life.
I'm probably older then most of you here & have more experiences with living life then many(traveling across the USA, visiting London, having been married for
34 1/2 yrs till my husband passed away, taught grade school for 33 yrs, etc), I still have much to learn on how to be a good Christian Jedi. As they say a Jedi is always learning.

I started being interested in being a Jedi when I went to Star Wars Celebration 3 in 2005. At that time I met The Jedi Assembly & Rebel Legion & simply got "blown" away by all of it. I LOVED it. I came home from that & have wanted to be more Jedi everyday. I do wear Jedi costumes on occasion because I am a Jedi costumer. I'm a member in The Jedi Assembly & The Rebel Legion/KJO detachment. I love wearing my Jedi as often as I'm able to do.

I came to COJK upon a recommendation from a member I met at an event, who suggested COJK & RJK to me. I found the websites: liked who I met, liked what I saw & joined both groups. At that time I wasn't sure if me, an "oldster" would fit in. I've been learning my way around, still haven't got it all under control with finding things but I'm learning. I've found I tend to get lost on occasion ;) . My sense of direction isn't the greatest--duh :o

At COJK I have been impressed that I'd have to know more of the Bible, which I have read, but I've found that in learning to be a Jedi is going to hopefully make me a better Christian person. I am Catholic by religion & very happy to be so :) . The traits of a Jedi, the Jedi Code & Creed & Pillars are all part of what a Catholic should be. So all of this is helping me improve myself that I can in turn help others. Learning to be a Jedi is helping to have a very positive outlook on life.

Also I'm getting a bit astounded by myself as I'm learning about the Force itself. I've never really wondered about it till I've attempted the exercises have actually felt it around me, much to my surprise  & bewilderment.

bows & thank you Masters.

Lesson 9--- Special Assignment--Qui-Gon

1.What do you think of this situation?

Not pleased but every situation has to be looked at from both sides. If this situation has to continue because of the reasons given I would ask, with my Master’s permission what the benefits are for those children who are working: food, shelter, payment, free time for the children. What benefits to their health & are they getting some education as well to improve themselves for when they get older. If my Master did not give me permission I would politely attempt to persuade & ask my Master to contact the Jedi Council for further ideas & then I would abide by what my Master & the Jedi Council said. If my Master decided he wouldn’t contact the Jedi Council about this then I, as a Padawan couldn’t do much about it. I’d have to wait till we got back from the original mission to seek council with Master Yoda & then abide by his decision. Hoping Master Yoda could send others to check the situation out.

2. Do you believe it is true that we cannot save everyone in the galaxy? Why or why not?

I do believe you can’t save everyone in the galaxy, but you do your best to save as many as you can when it’s within your power to do so.

3. What would you do if you were in Qui-Gon’s position?

I would ask, with my Master’s permission about the children’s welfare in all aspects that are necessary for the children to grow up successfully & then I’d ask my Master if he or I could call the Temple to see if there was anything they would want us to do about the situation if it didn’t impede the mission we were already on. It’s possible the Jedi Council could send other Jedi to see into the situation & or contact the Senate to see if they could help in any way to make improvements to help the children.

Masters usually know more then Padawans on any given mission that they are on & Padawans are required to obey, tell the truth & not question their Masters. Also a Master does not have to tell the Padawan anything more then the Master feels the Padawan needs to know, depending on the Padawans age & experience of missions. My Master may know all the facts & decide to watch my reaction to see what I will do & how I might go about doing it.

While I was on my original mission, me being Qui-Gon, I would attempt to find out as much as I could with or without my Master’s permission, though I would attempt my best to persuade him & letting him know I feel the Force is guiding me to find how true the facts were, about how the children felt about their situation so that I could in turn explain their feelings to my Master & the Jedi Council. Sometimes young ones can find out more then adults about a given situation, especially when it’s children dealing with children.
