Youngling Training Lesson-1 There are no right or wrong answers to the following. It is just a way to find out what you think and where you might be as a Jedi student. Please post your answers in your introduction topic. 1. What do you think it means to follow the Jedi Way? 2. In your own words define the Force. What is it? How did it originate? How does it work? _________________________- Ancwers- 1:To Protect And to Defend The Weak, Innocenet and Helpless, To Gain more knowledge, Enlightenment, To Help people, To Become better, Stronger. To Study The Jedi way itself, to use the force. 2:Tai chi, Yin-Yang, Qui, Prana, Magick Arts, All Are The Same thing, The Force. It Has Always Existed to say, before time itself. Before anything. It Works in mysterious/Great ways. Hard to explain, It Is what binds everything together, it flows through us, around us. Its The Sourse of all knowledge, strength and power. |

Youngling Assigement Two Go to the martial arts section. It is pinned in the Health & Fitness section of the lecture hall. Practice the basic stances. Of particular importance is the Horse stance. This is a basic grounding and stability stance. See how long you can hold it. Every day see if you can hold it for a few seconds more. Before you can advance to padawan stage you need to be able to hold horse stance for 5 minutes. ----------- 1: Done it, it was hard though, made by legs hurt a little bit and tired me out, but it was fun that i was able to do it:D |

Youngling Assigement Three Younglings should be practicing the meditation techniques that can be accessed from the main page. Before you can become a Padawan you should be able to spend at least 15 minutes in meditation/prayer every day. -------------- 1: Well i have meditated before i signed up:D Im not a christain, so i cant/wont do the prayer, but i have Done The Simple Breath Meditation Breath in one, say one, breath out one, say one, and so on until hit ten, then go by tens to a hundred, then by hundreds to athousand:D Really Can clear the mind |

Very well done :). The horse stanse takes practice but it's very good when you get used to it. I had the same problem when I 1st started. Meditation is good for everyone to do, it does very much help calm the mind. Feeling the force will come in time---just remember to breath, relax & stay calm---it will surprise you when you feel it & it's very much a good sensation :) . I still get so amazed when I feel it so much when I'm typing at the computer---the force comes when we have let ourselves go---not easy in todays world. That's why the movie Jedi had to study & train so long in order to connect with the force one has to be able to feel it at moments notice---THAT is very much not easy to do. |
