Not a pr0naholic, just a person who appears to have a wide ranging knowledge of the topic, and ready access to site links.

Now, are you going to provide fodder for the question, or just whinge about how misunderstood you are? :P

I think I missed the question. Did it have to do with the word "ribbed"?

I will start a new thread. It's easier, and will attract more attention, what with the word pr0n in its title.

. . . So, I'm here late, but:

My boyfriend had a co-worker back in Indiana named Sarah who was in a Girls Gone Wild video. I don't know which one, or where they found her (probably spring break in Florida -- everyone in Indiana goes to Florida at least twice a year,) but she ended up on the commercial.

They worked at a skateboard shop that did business to 95% males in the lucrative poseur skateboarder/skateboard equipment market -- so every now and then she'd get recognized. I felt really badly for her, but Justen said she was one of "those kinds of girls," and had probably done much worse.

I wonder if it mortifies her, or did, to see herself in a commercial acting very drunk and very lewd? I'm kind of torn about this, because it's not like I don't get recognized for sexy intarweb pictures (sometimes) -- however, I'm not nude . . . and I have mighty RL castration powers . . . Hmm.

Does slapping count as assult? Our resource officer at the University said that it really depends on the circumstances -- but for the most part, an open-palmed slap isn't. Maybe the odds are different if you're a coed at a school being perved up?

On another note, how uncomfortable would it be to work with someone who saw your GGW spot? Basically everyone in the shop saw the video at one time or another -- and generally before they even knew about her being in it.

This is probably peppered with spelling errors. It's 5am here and I'm off to bed now, I promise.

You strike me as too straight and proper for such a statement.
Technically speaking, slapping the camera man or the dude with the mic for asking the question would constitute assault.
And while I feel little sympathy for either cameraman or the mic guy, I have to question whether this is completely unreasonable. It's often intrigued me that slapping is somehow considered acceptable. If a girl asks me to get my balls out, punching her in the face isn't the first thing that crosses my mind. Now, sure, a slap's sufficiently insignificant that you'd have to be terminally lame to try and sue for it, but I do think it's important to uphold the notion that, no, you shouldn't be hitting people in the first place.

I agree. True, the cameraman or whoever shouldn't be making suggestions like that (which, incidentally, are actually illegal in Britain under many circumstances), but hitting them isn't really the best way to get your point across.
Traditionally, it's been perfectly acceptable for a women to slap a man if she feels he is acting inappropriately, but I think that is changing these days. It's always been seen as completely reprehensible for a man to hit a woman, but people generally turned a blind eye to violence towards a man. I think people are starting to change their attitudes towards domestic abuse of men. There's certainly been a noticeable increase in public awareness campaigns against that sort of thing.

Back when it was "normal" for women to slap men, men spanked women.

In the US, law enforcement takes domestic abuse much more seriously than they used to but there is still a dichotomy. Forinstance, I know a warring couple and it is the woman in the relationship who has the anger problem and the one who becomes physical. The couple is well known to local law enforcement and when a dispute arises that involves intervention by the law, both of them get into trouble but she is treated more lightly.

One incident that I recall happened when he was passed out and she struck him on the head with a 2"x4" board! He survived with minor injuries but she was not arrested. If he had struck her on the head with a board, he would have gone to jail and the assalt would have made headlines.

While I understand that intimate relationships can be incredibly irritating and the desire to throw something is, at times, strong but certain types of assualt make me wonder about the motive.

In the above case, striking someone on the head with a board could easily kill. That act seems to me to move an assault into attempted murder. I have to ask myself what is a person is thinking?

I was talking to a woman I know who's husband used to beat her. He would always be terribly apologetic afterwards and claim he'd lost control and of course he would never do it again but he always hit her where the injuries would'nt show.

I'd like to add that at this point I have taken my Spider Jerusalem action figure and tied his wrist to my Cassidy (from Preacher) action figure just so I can work out which positions are feasible with them and which aren't.

Read that and weep, internet. Weep!

If anyone ever asked me to lift my shirt up, i would not slap them, but i would probably laugh my butt off.... of course until they make a senior citizen version of "girls gone wild" i guess i wont have to worry about it .
