Ok, so I'm having a terrible geek-out moment here. Sue me. Not in chronological order, but I think it makes a nice dramatic sequence. |

You mean we have to fight that thing? Do what any self-respecting sorceress would do: light it on fire! Hang on a tick, I think we killed it.... Yup, dead. Uh, dead-er. |

Eeee... run! I really hate to do this to you. Honest. Together again... minus one ranger, plus one drow. Smiles, everyone, smiles! |

Very nice. Interesting you must be using the 1.68 patch for the cloaks to show up, (I'm using 1.67), but it also seems to remove the long hair from your princess. I like mine with long hair. |

Eral, that's equivalent to "well covered" for this mod  I just noticed did you put tattoos on your girl, Bex? |

She seems to have some. It really annoyed me to have tattoos; I so promptly covered them up with armour, it seemed like a waste of time. |

I like the tatoos and I like the scars too except some characters probably shouldn't have been scarred. I hate to say this but the NWN discussion and now screenshots are making me miss gaming. :( The screenshots look very nifty. |

Some of the heads still have very long hair, but I like a short haircut. The only problem I've noticed with the visible cloaks is that they have a funny way of intersecting with skirts. I pretty much always do tattoos. One nice thing with this mod is that the scanty costumes mean you can see them. |

And lastly the band of stereotypes is complete, a dwarven fighter, a tiefling rogue and now a hippie elf-chick druid.

Purty. Does Neeshka's tail just kind of hang there for show, or is it animated? |

Cool. The game looks fantastic, of course. The orchid is a nice touch. I read that you actually get to pick your character's eye colour and stuff with NWN2. I get frustrated with the NWN heads because so many of them are butt-frickin-ugly. Why why why would I want my elf to be wearing a stupid hat? |

NWN2 does look good, but I am fortunate enough to have a high-end graphics card to turn most of the eye-candy on. The flower comes courtesy of one of the hair selections, of which there are about 10, but only a couple are what I would consider good looking. There are about 5 different faces as well for humans, but again only 2 are good looking in my book, anyway. You do get to pick, eye, hair/highlight/hair accessory (only 3 of the hair styles have accessories - the flower and the chopsticks holding the hair in a bun - don't know the proper name and some braid thing like Nalia's) and skin colour, but the choice is limited compared to NWN. Here I took a screenshot for you to see for yourself.

Thanks. Only natural colouring, eh? And no tattoos. (sulk) I'm pretty sure those chopsticks are just called "chopsticks." |

Heh, ok, not up with female hairstyles
:D Yeah, only natural colouring, sadly, and there would be no point to tattoos because unlike NWN, if you don't have any armour on you are still fully clothed just like the model shown. |

Would NWN 2 work well without upgrading anything on a computer that can play Doom 3? If the answer is yes, in spite of knowing full well that the odds of ever being able to play this are probably insurmountable, I'm ordering the game. All these screenshots and game chat has been too much. <_< |

The answer would be 'probably', I couldn't tell you for sure without the exact details. If you want to post your specs I'd be able to tell you for sure, otherwise, (start, run, dxdiag) will tell you if you don't know the minimum is 2.4GHz P4, or Athlon XP 2000 (P4 3.0GHz) Memory 512MB (1GB) HD 5.5 GB, DVD 4x 128Mb Graphics Card with Shader Model 2.0 support ATi 9700Pro/Geforce 6600 (SM 3.0 256MB ATi X1600 / Geforce 6800GS/GT) recommended specs in brackets. I have seen people running it on lower spec machines, but it would mean running at the lowest settings because it really does tax the computer (i'm sawwy, btw) |

Is there any real reason to buy NWN2 limited edition for twice the price? I did read there are artifacts in the limited edition that are unavailable anywhere else but are these aritfacts worth an additonal $40.00? |

Not really, I have the normal edition - a fancy case, a small ring and a few in game items doesn't interest me for the money. I'm sure if I wanted to I could download a patch to put the extra items in the game, but with the crafting system you can build yourself better stuff anyway. |
