I'd like to add that at this point I have taken my Spider Jerusalem action figure and tied his wrist to my Cassidy (from Preacher) action figure just so I can work out which positions are feasible with them and which aren't.

Read that and weep, internet. Weep!

Purple? C'est bleu!

The armour is the Greensleeves Armour and a Cloak of Fortification that +3 that matches instead of those horrible tan ones that don't go with anything, although I think the Prestige Class Pack that added the Peerless Archer might change the appearance of the cloaks.

Yeah, Bex, there are only about 2 head models I like, not many at any rate.

(The hair is purple.)
There are only two human heads I like. And both of them are remarkably similar: No.2 and 5. I think most of the human heads are elven, myself. Not sure why the extremely unattractive older woman with skin like boot leather was included. I applaud the acknowledgment that old people exist, but being old and ugly is RL, not RPG.

Did I ever mention how many hours I have spent buying dye and experimenting with it on the clothing in NWN? Possibly not, because on some levels it's embarrassing. But damn have some of my armours and cloaks turned out stunning.

Can't say I played with the dyes much myself, I did make a black and blue (not purple btw!) armour once that was nice, but that's it, probably because I keep swapping armours a lot that I never bother customizing them.

Eral, I think they probably just thought it was easier offering all the head models for a player to choose than filtering those out that they think no-one would choose. Don't forget those models are used for the NPCs in the game too, so that's why the head model exists in the first place.

They were just being lazy. :eral:

There were dyes in NWN? Now that was a very good idea. (It was from a mod, wasn't it.)

I believe it was HotU that added dye to the game, though mods make them available in stores as well (if the author so choses, of course). There are dyes for metal, leather, and fabric, and garments break down so there are components. A suit of studded leather can have leather 1 and 2, cloth 1 and 2, and metal 1 and 2, allowing a huge amount of customization. Cloaks lack the metal parts, but get very ornamental when you dye the lining a different colour, or give them contrasting leather trim. I've made black leather armour with purple fabric and iridescent metal trimming. Glorious.

This is why my ADWR party looks so stylish. I spent a lot of time on their cloaks.

I am full of admiration.
It should have been in the original game.

It makes sense Hordes added them in, as that's when the crafting line of skills was introduced, along with the components for actually making your own armour, not just for colouring them.
