http://www.janeelliott.com/statements.htm I'll get you a link to Dr.Suess later, Joe. It will probably enlarge your thinking if you do read a bit of Suess. Sadly, you have made too many references to my advanced age for a sudden change to allegations of immaturity to work. But I'm giving you points for saying something different. The condescending was good, but you are crap at bitchy.(Shall I start the thread for you? It's no trouble.) As a person who experiencesa number of phobias, I don't like to refer to them as "just" phobias. I don't want to be dismissive of the concerns people feel, but neither do I want racist policies implemented by my government. I do think the idea of a monolithic Australian or American or Canadian culture is mythic, because our countries have always been made up of people from diverse backgrounds, and I am honestly baffled by concerns about cultural ghettoes and retention of language. I really don't see Australian/American/Canadian values being eroded. We know all newcomers are treated with fear and mockery: they experience discrimination, and always start off in low paid crap jobs. As Regullus said, every new batch gets the same treatment - including from the last batch. It's this that leads me to believe these concerns are based on fear of the outsider, fear of displacement, fear of change. Change is probably one of the most confronting elements in our lives. I believe the reason France has experienced the extreme difficulties it has, is precisely because of the uni-culture. European cultures are experiencing the challenge of different customs conflicting - and it's a relatively new experience. But for us, it's how we've always been. http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story...66-2703,00.html Le Pen. Very ugly person. |

http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/aca...1405371002.html I believe this man is showing his prejudices. For an academic, he is using very mushy terms and isn't dicussing any evidence to support his views. Perhaps he will at the conference? <_< http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story...00-2703,00.html Catholics taking over England!! |

http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/jew...1734022008.html Free speech. The Zionist group supporting him are very anti-Arab. They are fond of referring to goyim, too. "We support our people." :( |
