I must win every time, contest to the death.
There are some things over which I will go to bat.
Don't really care about winning arguments.
I like discussions.
Arguments are boring.
I hate arguing.

Arguing is an amusing pastime.
I enjoy an occasional joust of wit.
I'm in for conflict resolution, not arguing.
I'm not interested in arguing, I'm watching Johnny Depp
Arguing is a waste of time.
I hate arguing.

I will stoically defend the indefensible if I believe it.
I pound away until I wear down opposition.
I dodge around hoping to confuse my opponent.
I get incensed and lose rationality.
I bore my opponents into silence
I logically identify flaws in the opposing argument.
I posit different POVs to fully discuss the issue.
I ridicule my opponent.
I ridicule my opponent's argument.
I just agree and walk away.
I cry.

What am I missing?

I'd like to add that at this point I have taken my Spider Jerusalem action figure and tied his wrist to my Cassidy (from Preacher) action figure just so I can work out which positions are feasible with them and which aren't.

Read that and weep, internet. Weep!

Oh, how silly of me. I completely forgot:
"I bore my opponents into silence",
and
"I would like to engage in a joust of wit, but I have none".

Sometimes heated discussions are fun and educational, but I'm easily distracted and occasionally too bored with the topic to continue answering, plus I don't really care about "winning."
I belong to one of those families that does not speak to or see its members as often as we should,
but if someone needed anyone to fall on a sword for her, there would be a queue waiting to commit the deed.

Which colour would I put that under?

Just in case you are wondering, this thread was sparked by a comment that "fighting is fun". I think fighting is no fun. Hence the poll. It has nothing to do with Joe whatsoever.

My fighting style is dual-wielding katanas or a big two-handed sword. Shields are for wimps. :ph43r:

Yeah, that's my normal style of fighting too but unfortunately in KotoR I've messed up my character (I think) and will probably be one-handed. :(

:off: I freely admit that I'm not hugely knowledgable about the Star Wars universe but I think I have a romance blossoming and I seem to recall that romantic attachments were discouraged among the Jedi, also, you know, on further acquaintance with the Jedis, I'm beginning to think that I actually don't want to be a Jedi, I would prefer to remain freelance but that doesn't seem to be an option. <_<

One other thing, I don't know who the hell Bastila is but she's obviously not telling the whole story. She better not be my long lost twin. :penguin:

Liz, while I agree that Johnny Depp should be in every thing, I also don't want to show a lack of respect by not giving him the space that he deserves.
"I'm not interested in arguing, I'm watching Johnny Depp" be a green option.

Regullus, do you have to choose between one-handed and two-handed? :o But, two-handed swords are crappy in early levels! You switch to them once your strength develops!! It's canon!!

This is the 3rd time I'm attempting to post: My daughter deleted the first post and then we had a power outage. <_< Third time's the charm.

Regarding, KotOR: Initially I started off as the scoundrel class and technically a scoundrel is not a front line fighter. I chose feats and skills appropriate to the class but after the first planet you change classes and I was a little high in levels to change my skill set. I am now a Scoundrel/Sentinel which is truer to the initial class.

Back to topic:

Personally, fighting bores me and I prefer to solve the problem rather than having a passionate fight and then making up equally passionately. If I really had a big fight and I got ruffled, I'm not going to feel too friendly. I just find fighting on the whole to be boring.

On the net, I prefer discussion and hopefully at closure, people may look at an issue a little differently. :angel2:

Does that help? Probably not. I do like the boring your opponent into apathy as a poll option.

I'm relieved KoTOR is not deeply flawed.
Checking if I have got "boring".

Yes, but I need to add in "Devil's Advocate."

Never played KotOR 1 or 2. Star Wars has never been that inspirational to me to the extent that I don't actually like it. Which I hear is anathema for a sci-fi fan, but that's me.

Well Star Wars was really just a fairy tale dressed in sci-fi. I don't think it negates your sci-fi credentials if you never loved Star Wars.

I thoroughly enjoyed Star Wars, (except for the Ewoks) but have never played KoTOR. Mr.FPS played it, and I have never been able to believe it's a RPG since then. I also have a sneaking suspicion it requires co-ordination to play.
