I have a very nice backless blue dress. Somewhere. I just wish I could still fasten it around my waist! |

I am very disappointed these links didn't work. Disappointed, but not surprised. I had Family Dinner at my house and was not able to address the failure to link before. You will now have to wait until I am sober (see Family Dinner) before the links might be corrected. This may be never. I too have a very nice backless dress that no longer fits me. My nieces refer to it as my marrying dress, and are currently undergoing dispute as to who gets it. Nieces. :) |

They work if you copy and paste them, and now that my secret that I worked ever so hard to keep is out, I might as well pick my favourite. So my top 3 are, no.1 fav. 1. Is number 2. on your list - that to me is stunning 2. Is number 1. the chinese one - just pipped to the post, but also gorgeous 3. Is number 7. super-seksy Of course whilst I have revealed that I don't have back hair, so that no-one will be repulsed (more shocked) should I don a backless dress, well you know round the front, even though I have man-boobs (I hate that word as well), well they are tres petite and I'm not sure I'd do these dresses justice. But thanks Eral, so what does it say about my fashion sense.... :D |

I like the Chinese one, though the proportions of such dresses tend to be disagreeable to my measurements (determinedly pear-shaped). I do have a turquoise cheongsam-style dress which fits very well and is my most dressed-up outfit. Last time I wore it out, another woman was wearing a similar dress (not identical, but a turquoise cheongsam, so close enough). Practically everyone else at the event was in black. It was too funny. The Cherlone dresses look really nifty. I really never go anyplace formal enough to wear things like that though. |

I belong to one of those families that does not speak to or see its members as often as we should, but if someone needed anyone to fall on a sword for her, there would be a queue waiting to commit the deed. -Min Jin Lee | |

Boeing, is that dresses/backless dresses on you, or on women? I am delighted you have enjoyed the frocks. Sorry Boeing. (I understand your views on dresses in regards to them on you, but feel you are being a bit harsh to the rest of us.) 1,2 and 7 were my favourites too. As I recall. Having said that, I have now had occasion to view Hillary's dress several times now, and it is not as bad as I thought. Too much back - and too skinny back - but far more material than I had first thought and interesting lines. The Melbourne Uni Ball was a very dressy occasion, suits and frocks. The girlfriend-at-that-minute of one of my house mates spent a small fortune on her silk dress, which she was kind of vague on the colour of. I described the purple shot pink pseudo-silk fabric of the dress I was making, at grand cost of $4.00 and received pitying smiles from her. Yep. Her dress was purple shot pink silk. Mine had straps and a full skirt, hers was straight skirt. Very very unhappy girl. The following year I went dressed as a hooker. It was less fraught. |

I'm not sure what to think really. I mean, I see pictures of actesses with expensive dresses on and I think 'Ooh, a long piece of blue fabric'. Dresses have never done anything for me. But hey, all it takes is one... |

In which case you would be Charlize Theron's Sheer Black Dress, or Eva Longoria's Red Halter Gown. I'd believe Charlize's dress on you. Eva's dress is the wrong shade. |
