As Krazy has begun a very interesting sub-thread in Chat, I have been forced to start a thread on smileys because I don't want to divert from it. Of course, we could have had a thread on the God Delusion, and I could have continued discussing smileys there, and we would have looked a lot smarter to any random visitors: but I cannot convince anyone of the virtues of starting new threads. Now I know that smileys are the height of childishness, and that really cool people never use them. Anyone not comfortable being a dag can PM with their views. I promise to never tell anyone you took time out from lofty occupations to ponder silly expressions created by lines and dots.
Nibby and I have agreed on Elvis and the Smurf, but he feels the clown is too happy to be evil. Force yourselves to dwell on this inconsequential matter for a moment, and give your view. Could the clown indicate a higher level of happiness than ? Or just to indicate a lack of seriosity? The Clown of Kidding? He also feels the snowman is too happy to be the Snowman of Submission: but I don't see submitting to Regullus greater wisdom as something to be particularly upset about. I noted that G3 has pretty coloured smileys. Oooh. (I have never thought this smiley indicated mellowness: maybe we should change it to jealous.) I noted they didn't have a or , and felt somewhat appeased.

Clowns are creepy. It is a rather sheepish looking snowman, I think. That's really all I have to say. |

I agree with Bex on the creepiness of clowns. Some of us have this prejudice. The clown should = creepiness. As to the :snowman:, hmm, he's a toughy. The more I stare at him, the more evil he looks. In theory, snowmen are benign and heart warming. I'll ponder the snowman.Smileys I have added: ![]() I'm not thrilled with the blue sportscar aka krazy but its the first blue sportscar I saw. I went and looked at G3's emoticons and I was very excited to see a "pout" smiley which I thought might do for a jealous smiley but I thought it looked like a sad and disapointed smiley. If I changed the color to green, I think this <_< is the best jealous smiley candidate so far. Edit: ?

I can see the violin coming in very handy, and to tell the truth, first thing I thought of when I saw the car was my husband, then Krazy. (They share a love of cars.) Clowns are evil, Eral, and smiles can be veeeery evil, as we all know. I think the clown could be a "whatever" smiley. Like, I'm a little too chilled to care, folks, so whatever. |

OK. (Thank you Bex for that effort. I know it was hard.) edit: The Snowman would work as "I'm too chilled to care." But I like Sumission. Mellow could be "whatever". Regullus and I originally objected to mellow as lacking expression, but Cyber liked it, and she won the argument by virtue of being :admin:. I think the clown should be of creepiness. I don't think the snowman looks evil; I think he is happy. Submission occurred to me because a snowman melts away. It was very easy to alliterate as well. Please decide in time for the conclusion of the debate on the God Delusion - Krazy will be able to use it. :ph43r: Love the violin, the car, RIP and the ambulance. Doom is awesome. As you have already added <_< as jealous, I am taking as a given you like it better than a green . I to your

I've always thought
= Stunned Silence. I have another sportscar, the original car is red and the smiley driving is wearing a green hat , I thought I'd change the hat/hair and car to blue. 'Course, Krazy might have changed his hair color. ![]() and ![]() Edit: :krazy2: ? |

The first car looks more Beamer-ish, but the second car is funnier.
:) Love the rally drivers: it will come in handy when tag teaming an issue. I was baffled by the hat at first - but now i see it's for revenge. - is one of my favourites. Stunned silence is a good name. I have always thought of it as a response to something weird, that is a worry, but not a serious concern. That is handled by

Well, I always figured
denoted something along the lines of "Are you really that stupid?"[edit] Or perhaps "That's not worth more of a reply than a raised eyebrow at the fact that anyone would say something so assinine." |

Thanks Reg, I like them both - I'm happy to go with the group vote, or you just exercising your almighty admin powers. Colour remains blue, although the blonde has grown out currently and I need to get my hair re-bleached. Sadly family prefer the blonde streks (I know Bex) to blue, so I tend to do it now and again (since the dye isn't permament) as opposed to just reapplying as it fades. Oh yeah, clowns, or at least that one is creepy. Anyways, back to my 'p00ter tomorrow as opposed to this Noddy one. -Krazy (Eral, I should have started a new thread) |

I'd like to share my thoughts on my smiley. For all of you that weren't here when I declared it so this is MY smiley.I like to use it to randomly poke people with or just when I'm feeling particularly silly, random, off-topic, or any combination of the three. And I also like the anime type smiley ^_^. |

Well I didn't want to be the one that said it so brusquely, but dear Nibbers is of course correct as usual. And I think everyone should be thankful that I just posted the :psyduck: version of the fapper, and not the originals... Sassy lassies for Krazy: ![]() I just noticed that the big and the tiny blue's are dressed the same. Oh... Also, the two white's are not identical: one has the same moves as the black one. (Oh God why did I reply to this thread, I own far too many bizarre emoticons for any sane person to reasonably confess to having.) |

Certainly, could be used as alternative to or even "I'd hit it" could be "I'd it" but the ing gesture can also be used to indicate contempt or disrespect.Someone makes a statement you vehemently disagree with, forinstance: "I hate you!!! :joe:"Might result in a one emoticon response: ![]() |

Evil Clown. To be used when discussing something that is funny, or meant to be, but is repugnant.
would be used to refer to things we don't feel guilty about.
To indicate an immovable opinion. For instance,
