You people (and you know who you are! ) have forced me to start this topic. Do you realize how many times I have had to trawl other forums in order to make sure people are alive and well? :raven:

Planning on going missing? Post your :bye2: or  or :joe: here!!! :threat:

Yes, I know I'm being demanding. :knight:

:tsog: , :corvis: & :GoAT: (inside joeks and the last is so inside only one other person knows about it. ) needn't bother. However, Guests are welcome to post here too.

The latest MIA is Inky. :hanky: :violin:

Bex let us know when she was on vacation and she told us all about too. :4jon: :bex:

Pretty please. :)

I'd like to add that at this point I have taken my Spider Jerusalem action figure and tied his wrist to my Cassidy (from Preacher) action figure just so I can work out which positions are feasible with them and which aren't.

Read that and weep, internet. Weep!

Reg, you can't count on Inky to post regularly. She pops in for a bit, then she finds a new hobby and abandons everyone for a while. Then, when she wants to, she returns. She's been posting on PBG forever and she abandons us regularly, but never a farewell. She just eventually wanders back in long enough for everyone to go, "INKY!" and then she vanishes again. It's rather charming, in its way.

She was visiting her family and is now back, so I wouldn't be surprised if you see her again one of these days.

I actually don't expect anyone will post here but I hope. :(

Certainly, Inky or whomever is free to roam as they will. :zen:

No, no Regullus, maintain your rage. This thread is an excellent idea. B) You and I don't want to wake up one day and find we are the only ones here. :o

You always seem to notice absences before anyone else. It must be your powahs. :admin:

LD, you are one of the people I was referring to. Don't think I haven't noticed your unexplained and frankly, inexplicable absences. <_< :ld: :hanky:

However, I hadn't wanted to be too pushy.

Oh sheesh, I'm sorry guys! I actually came by to ask a question, and saw this and thought "OMG what's going on with Regullus <insert multiple interrobangs here>" and now I feel bad.

I got stalked by a harbor seal and learned maybe more than I wanted to know about kayaking in wind and hail and waves and educated my sisters about Star Wars and spent a lot of time on my butt with my feet in front of a wood-burning stove. I won't go further off-topic in here, going to go make my own topic so you all can help me with my utter lack of social grace.

Well sometimes, I don't get to get on the comp in a given day, and sometimes I'm not absent, I just don't post, I thought you'd expect that from CT's semi-resident lurker.

Besides I have no life, so I don't get to go vacationing any where remotely interesting. <_<

Bex has got tabs on Inky, but LD is a much more difficult case. :gum:

It's true, BR, when you were absent, Eral and I became worried, I trotted over to the Frozen North and there you were. Saddened? Sure. Worried? No. You are far too famous to disappear.

And, well, we were jealous. "What's wrong with us? Not worth a cryptic smiley? Have we become boring??? :o :cyber: :baby: :hanky:"

Then we had a long discussion about whether a high level emotional investment in a cyberspace forum was a sign of good mental health. We decided yes. I already have enough issues.

Well, it seems I've unintentionally upset someone that I personally had no problems with and liked very much. I'm far too immature to work this out, which leaves only one action left,

Ciao. 4 gud.

You do realize that leaving will only upset people much more than any online needling ever could. (Don't you?)

I think Krazy is being sarcy.

Let's hope so. If not, we'll doubleteam him to get his arse back here.

If it's a joke, I claim extreme mental fatigue due to playing online Scrabble with a friend until 4AM.

Krazy, if you could say sorry and I could forgive you for something even Bex thought deserving of a (oh-so-gentle) repremand, you can't leave over something I didn't even notice.

Honest.

I like you, heathen though you are. Who will I agree with about everything except the fundamental reasons for living?

I see he has that albatross around his neck already.
"Though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield." Alfred, Lord Tennyson - Ulysses

Whilst I am truly sorry for the distress I have caused to my fellow forumite, I cannot for my own well-being remain here when such grievous allegations have been alleged and implicitly supported against me.

The heavy burden I bear that I caused such pain, will blacken my soul for the rest of my days, but know that it was done with the sole intention of levity and jocularity. Since I am being asked to apologize, which would in itself implicitly acknowledge I have perpetrated a dastardly crime (one which hasn't even been observed), also one which I claim innocence, I feel an apology would compromise my own position, and therefore reparations on any sort will not be forthcoming.

Now I must address various points, which have sunk all feelings of elation and make further posting on this forum an untenable position.

Oh Niibby, such wounding words. Word's so cruel, 'tis as if you'd plunged the knife in yourself. The thought you think me capable of such callousness. 'Tis not bad enough I caused such pain to Eral, that you think me capable of belittling her further with those words which were as sincere as they could possibly be. 'Tis very hurtful indeed.

(Don't you?)

Two very harsh words, that tell the world that you think I have the mental faculties of a squashed grape. I have taken them to heart and thus as your intellectual inferior, I now take leave of you as I'm quite clearly not worthy of being in your esteemed presence.

And as I'm sure you have grasped with your razor sharp mind, that being here where everyone seems to think so little of me is hardly conducive to a feeling of welcomeness and happiness for myself.

I save this for last, because I was well and truly flabbergasted to read it. After pages of informing the forum of your unhappiness in no small part due to myself that I try and spare you further pain and you turn around as if nothing was wrong.

No, you will finally see, I am the aggrieved party here, and no apology was forthcoming, so it is I who have no recourse left but to resign my position here. The bitter salt tears streaming down my face, obscuring my vision, making these last words difficult to type, I have not the heart to put my name to these words for these memories injure me so.

Goodbye.

Reg, I have nothing but good words to say about you for not aiding and abetting these mobster villagers with their pitchforks and torches running the "villain" out of town.
