Two colors/one rose

I was given a pink rose bush & was surprised to see this one bud with a darker pink/red rose. I think I have another one on the same stem. I'm not a gardener so I don't know...how does this happen? :unsure:

It is very pretty Tngirl. I'm not that informed on that kind of thing either.

I use to order flowers in the mail and sometime wouldn't get what I ordered.
I have bought trees and what have you at local greenhouses also.
I bought some fruitless plum trees that have plums on them every year..

Sometimes I think the places where you buy flowers don't know for sure what they have.. :P :)

That's neat! Thanks for sharing.

I have a Winchester Cathedral rose, where some of the roses are white, but once in a while there is a pink one.
